Why am i having this white portion on my tummy? Tried to sun bath it away but it doesn't help

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering with this issue and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I am not a doctor so I cannot really say for sure what the problem is. However, there is a condition called 'Vitiligo' which can create patches like this on the skin (I looked at your picture).

Vitiligo occurs due to a lack of melanin in the affected areas of skin. Melanin, which is produced by specialised skin cells called melanocytes, gives your skin its colour and protects it from the sun. It is not exactly clear what causes this lack of melanin, but it has been linked to problems with the immune system (autoimmune conditions) and nerve endings in the skin.

It would probably be best to discuss this problem with your GP just to have Vitligo ruled out? I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you are looking for.

I have vitiligo on the side of my face but not that noticeable as I am very fair but sunbathing is the worse thing you can do as it just makes the surrounding skin darker. It happened with me when I was pregnant which is when my fibro started as well.

It looks very like Vitiligo, I have had it since I was a teenager, unfortunately it is all over my body, hair included. I have been told to stay out of the sun and to wear factor 50 sun cream from march to October. Hope this helps
