Hi Caroline

Sorry to hear you seem to be suffering all over. The shooting, burning part sounds very like my neuropathic pain, I also have fibro which makes my muscles ache deeply as well rather like flu. Has it all come on suddenly. Are your joints swollen and hot?x

I have been like this for 12 months and the doc don't know what it is they thought it was chronic fatigue syndrome but its not the sleep its the pain that's worse.

You don't happen to have psoriasis (not sure I have spelt it right) do you? Have you been tested for rheumatoid arthritis?

Hi caroline47

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you are suffering with these issues and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these problems.

I have pasted you the web link to the FibroAction pages on Fibro symptoms, so I genuinely hope that you find this useful. This is one of those issues that is advisable discussing with your GP, as to rule anything else out and keep them up to date with what is going on for you?

I want to wish you all the best with this, and I really hope that you find the answers that you are looking for?

All my hopes and dreams for you

The doctors come out once a month and cant tell me what is it they thought it was chronic fatigue syndrome has the symptoms are similar to fibromyalgia but the sleep is worse in cfs where mine is the pain x

I am so sorry to hear that, as this must be exceptionally unpleasant for you? I do not know if you are in the UK? But an MRI may help pinpoint whatever it is that is happening for you?

Good luck and please look after yourself

Yep, it all sounds very, very familiar Caroline47 .

It's actually Very possible to have both CFS and Fibro or indeed CFS, Fibro And OsteoA. Do check with your GP and ask for a referral to a Rheumatologist to rule out or confirm Fibro, MS, Lupus or any other autoimmune condition.

In the meantime, be kind to yourself and really try to listen to your body. It can be very frightening - especially when you've not been given a clear diagnosis but I think you're already half way there so try not to worry. Most of all, try to get as much rest as you can.

Wishing you a good outcome to your queries and lots of spoons.

Yes it does, and that's only the beginning. You should get tested and if your family doctor can't help go to a pain clinic. It makes a world of difference. Hoping you find some relief sweetheart!!! xxx Mitzi

most certainly does as you have all the symptoms that I have and I have been diagnosed with fibro unfortunately there is no reliable tests for it.
