What You Should Say to a Doctor.

Just got this via Arthritis care. It's very similar to what we've been asked and answered several times recently. I hope it's helpful and that I'm not treading on anyone's toes :)

You should be able to copy and enlarge if its hard to read. It came as a jpg so I couldn't copy and paste into the body of a post.

Hello my friend

Thanks for this, it is really good! I have seen my physio and she asked me to undress, and I said 'please do not tell my wife'. She looked at me as though I was an idiot (only thing she got right). She asked me to lay on the bed, and I said 'you are a bit forward young lady, no wine or dinner first? Please do not tell my wife.' Again she looked at me like I was an idiot!

She then proceeded to give me a quite intimate examination and I said to her, 'I normally have to pay really good money for this sort of thing?' And she replied, 'I won't tell your wife!'

So I am really looking forward to having a good laugh with her next week!

Hehehe. My sense of humour gets me into trouble occasionally.

I say to my dentist "in the nicest possible way, I don't want to see you for a long time."

Or in situations like the one you describe "we'll have to stop meeting like this, people will talk"
