Severe lower back, right leg, hip/foot pain..

Im in sooo much pain whenever. I get up and walk. The pain from my lower back radiates down my rt.leg.. I had a rt. Total knee replacement 2009, which never got well. Dx: Osteoporosis/ osteoarthritis. ..When this new pain started I thought it was my knee or hip...taking my meds just take the edge off, as soon as the meds wears off the pain is so severe and almost unbearable, I'm ready for surgery, after stating i would never have another back surgery. In 2004 I had a FAILED left laminectomy, 2009 fx 5vertebraes (vertigoplasty) last mo.Mri: states C5-7 and T 7-11 severe bluges, walking stooped over,can't get comfortable at night, now this..any suggestions before I make the big decision going through with the surgery...you can only take so much med, without overdose.which I'm afraid of and at times I think my pain management doctor don't believe the severity of my pain level..HELP!!!

Oh Nitty boo I realize you are suffering very badly .and from what you have said I would go for the operation I have great empathy for your pain it sounds so similar to mine, I too have osteporossis/osteoarthritis I have bulges from 1-6 discs protrudis and stennosis T7 - 11 severe bulges leading to chest pains and loss of feeling in hands. My neck vertabrae are dodgy following an accident so I wear a collar in the morning.

You ask for Help So do I as you say [pain killers take the edge of it what we need is some sort of pain relief given on a daily basis.

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

It really sounds like you could do with the surgery, as it has to be better than what you are feeling at the moment. If you have a sympathetic and understanding GP it may be worth discussing how you are feeling with them?

I really hope that you can get this sorted as soon as possible.
