I'm new here in pet corner, but thought you might like to see our doggy. We rescued him 10 years ago and he is now 13 years old. He had surgery for cancer last year, and the whole experience took it's toll on him. Now he likes nothing better than to laze around with a full tummy and his favourtie cuddly toy

ahhh Hes still a lovely looking dog concidering hes age My Megan has a teddy that she always sleeps with and never played with it. She also has another that need restuffing most days.. sue

hi ,aw bless him! i have a dobermann cross.Buster- his favourite toy is a panda but it is hidden away from Annie so she doesn't pull the stuffing out of it.my Max s favourite toy was a stuffed rabbit and that went with him to the rainbow bridge.

He's a super dog and looks totally chilled.

It's a funny thing with stuffed toys, they either destroy them or love them forever.

My dog Libby has a stuffed tabby cat which has to be put in the washing machine along with her bed as she slobbers over it.

Thanks, after I sent the picture I wondered if anyone would get his name. He was called Spider in the Rescue Centre .... shudder.... and after we changed his name based on his looks, we discovered that he was part Saluki (an ancient egyptian breed)

We do love him very much! We originally got him to help our daughter cope with her illness. Most doctors agree that pet therapy is a very real bonus for sick children. When we were waiting to meet him for the first time outside his kennel, staff at the shelter advised us to sit spaced out around the room rather than in a group (there were 4 of us), so as not to overwhelm him. When they brought him in, he had a quick look at us all, then went straight to my daughter, stiffed her legs (most of her pain was there at the time) and immediately sat down beside her.... aaw. They have been best buddies ever since, and he cries when he is separated from her.
