How do I get smilies?

Morning Mazz the easiest way to learn to watch people when someone smiles the instant recognition is to smile back ~ so you need to practise smiling at people or yourself in the mirror and see how you feel apart from silly you will be smiling there is an old saying "Smile and the whole world smiles with you" and it is true.

From a baby to a grandparent it is infectious. So we all need to smile go on try it

Hi all thanks for your replies, I was smiling at my self in the mirror as suggested and my daughter said "you have totally lost the plot" I'm now waiting for the men in the white coats to come and take me away, but I will keep smiling - xx

Hi Mazz, What version of Windows are you using? you should be able to get a smilie face by using your Caps button and pressing : then ) xx

The grin is : then D but without a space, like wise the tongue sticking out is : then p without a space, and a wink is ; then ) again without spaces, likewise startled is : then o Hope that helps a bit. I'm an iPad user and the number of times I try use the emoticons on here and then have to go back and do them manually, well.....Foggy......

Hello Mazz64,

If you are using a laptop or PC (doesnt work on ipad or phones) if you hover the cursor over the smiley you can see how to type the smiley , hope that helps and you don't get too frustrated with it ! lol

For emergency (ie times of frustration) Please break glass (virtual) and use the & bar of chocolate as needed until resolves !!!
