I have had my home visit by atos doctor on Saturday-doctor was actualy quite civilised and understanding with regaurd to fibro but of course weve all read the stories of them going away and writing something completely different .he warned my brother who was taking notes not to publish them!

Warned your brother? What right does he have to do anything of the sort in your home?! I never trust these people, no matter how they seem in person. Of course they will be polite and 'understanding'; it's what they put in writing in their report later that matters.

Good to have someone else there to back up anything that happened and taking notes. Excellent idea. maybe the doctor will think twice about lying in the report.

I had a home visit at my last medical and the guy was an hour late arriving so was only her efor a short time-he could see that I was not capable of doing my housework which I think was in my favour- something they would probably dismiss if I had told them that and they couldn't see for themselves.i should have a secret tape recorder.hop eit all works out fro you.

How long did you wait before you received an appointment. I was advised by DWP that on 30/08/13 a request was sent for an Atos healthcare official to visit, but I have not heard anything or received a letter.
