Thank you. although its horrible to think so many others have this fibro it is also comforting to know you are not alone and can share/talk

Too true. I thought I was going mad and the only person in the world feeling this horrible fast onset of symptoms which changed me and my life. It helps a lot to read other peoples's posts and know that what I feel is real and not in my head. However, being put in WRAG after appeal,I cannot honestly see what I can do earn money. This is the biggest worry. Leaves no head space to think about you and your life and what if anything, you can do to get through xx

Glad to be of some help. Yes I think the more that do wear them the quicker people will realise just how serious fibro is. Hopefully anyway!

My sons and partners are going to wear them too that week..mine will be on all the time. xx

Hi pebbles and welcome. A lovely site and plenty of information. It is a shock when you first get diagnosed and it takes a little while for everything to sink in and to come to terms with it. You will get a lot of support on here and smiles along the way.

Welcome Pebbles. I was diagnosed a few months ago; still coming to terms with it. Going from healthy, highly active person to sometimes finding it hard to function at all is bloody hard! I don't think I really believe it won't go away and one day I'll wake up and be fine.

The people on here are excellent. Always helpful and supportive.

Hi Pebbles, sorry to be so late in joining the welcome party, but as so many have already said you will find a lot of support and advice here, coupled with some fun and more little hearted posts to try and lift people's spirits when they are down. I'm sorry about the reason you have had to join us, but glad to welcome you to our merry little band.

Hi Pebbles,

Hope you enjoy the posts. This is a great site to get useful info from those who know, to be able to vent on bad days and get support, but more importantly, to have a bit of fun banter with people who are in the same boat, but refuse to let it dampen their spirits. I always say its my sense of humour that stops me going insane :)

Pip xx
