FIBROMYALGIA CONFERENCE 2013

Hi guys

Hope that this day is a more positive and reduced pain day.

I just wanted to share with you all that I attended my first conference on 26/29 April in Chichester, I must say that I was blown away by so many inspiring people. It highlighted how dibilitating this FM is for everyone, but yet thru the days we all shared together, it felt like we could conquer the world. We all said we felt relaxed and at peace with each other, not worrying about what people would think of us. A lot of bonding went on, and many a laugh!!

The doctors who spoke were Dr Kevin White from Canada, Dr Marek from Calafornia who were amazing and both moved us all by helping us to understand more, encouraged, we were touched which left us in tears. I would highly recommend Dr White's books. He has just published, Breaking Thru the Fibro Fog, which has many a good write up.

I will certainly attend again next year.

Thanks Fibroturkey, I have never been to a conference such as this but would love to in the future. Where did you find out about it please ?

So glad you enjoyed yourself. Sometimes when you are with like minded sufferers and share stories and symptoms it can be a real lift.

I have watched several of Dr White's videos and he is an inspiring man to see. Warm, funny and a crusader for FM sufferers.
