Hmm! It doesn't sound like my fibromyalgia how I experience it. I don't have any shortness of breath and I don't have tremors in my legs either or sleep paralysis. I do have the pain tho in most parts of body that's there all the time.

Just wondering did your dr press on several parts of your body like in areas from head to toe, when I was diagnosed I was pressed in these areas by a rheumatologist and I think you had to have at least 11 I think that were painful think it was 11. It is unusual for a dr to jump so quickly within 4 weeks onset of a diagnosis of fibromyalgia....they usually want 3 months of constant pain unless your dr got a few patients with fibro and is really good at spotting it. Think mine took a year to get to that point.

I do have reflux which you mentioned but that was after being referred to gastro Drs and having a camera down my throat and diagnosed with oesophagitis which caused by reflux which is kept under control with medication. I didn't get chest pain with mine but I know some do, I also developed ibs and a hiatus hernia around the same time. 😒

I wonder if you are anxious about your new pain symptoms and it causing anxiety and that can lead to shortness of breath in a panick attack. I noticed I started having bouts of depression and anxiety but I think that was about a year into the fibromyalgia when I realised there wasn't a cure...yet 🙏🏻 still hoping.

I think I would ask your dr if they believe it's fibromyalgia if you could be referred to a rheumatologist ...although all a rheumatologist did for me was diagnose it and that was it but it could be helpful to you to get the diagnosis confirmed and if you are still getting reflux symptoms maybe a referral to a gasterentalogist

Did your dr give you any medication to help either for pain or acid reflux? If they did is any of it helping

Wishing you luck in getting answers I know how frustrating it can be
