Hey

After some advice

I was diagnosed with endotromisis back in July 2016 had surgery after that I’ve have had most endo symptoms. But New Year’s Eve I was admitted to hospital for arm infection and antiobic allergic reaction

Since leaving I’ve have felt terrible I’m exhusted I ache every where my limbs feel like lead and my joints hurt and are cracking I wake up and struggle to move a very hot shower eases it and I take paracetamol and naproxen to help I’ve been experiencing headaches dizziness neck shoulder pain and painful bloating I’ve been tested before for reumatoid arthritis and came back clear I’ve had bloods Monday and they was all back to normal. My jaw is clicking and painful to eat and sometimes it’s difficult to swallow when I spoke to my doctor on how I was feeling I was basically told it’s viral yet no temp or signs and tried to up my antidepressants and was just going to sign me off work for further 2 weeks this was beginning of January I refused to up my medication and walked out as that is not the answer to my current issues. I’ve since been googling and researching and I feel that my symptoms could be fibro related but wanted to ask you guys some advice

Thank you

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. It is exhausting, I know. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in '94 had laparoscopic "scraping" then followed by total hysterectomy in '97. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in '99. I had many of the same symptoms as you. I was on anti-depressants & hydrocodone for several years, then came Cymbalta which was a miracle pill for me in the beginning but ended up a nightmare. I'm still in withdrawal after being on it 18 years. During this time I had bladder cancer & had my bladder taken out & a new one made from my own tissue put inside my body. Because of this I have many uti's, some really nasty. Like in the hospital on Iv antibiotics.

Fast forward to now. I've been on a new Med for about 4 months that has few side effects, has helped with my pain & seems to be helping with my immunity as well. While I think the jaw pain should be addressed by a dentist, I think it would be worth your time to research Low Dose Naltrexone. LDN. Google it. It has truly helped me. I can't take pain meds because I now have kidney disease. I don't need it anymore, I can work part time again. I hope this helps you on some way. I will say a prayer for you.

Thank you so much for replying ! I’m so sorry you have had it rough too!! Did you get kidney disease from all the medication ? Or is it just one of those things ? I had breast cancer in 2010 and many other issues but this this is another level I think I’ve had about a week at most in the last 3 months of feeling normal ! I’m suppose to be phased back to work but I’m terrified of how I’ll feel and cope I’ve been to my doctors and explained how I feel and she’s referring me up the hospital I’m guessing I’ll go through same long process of eliminating things before I actually get a dignosis !

I’m due to have another lap for Endo and absolutely dreading how I’ll feel after that !

I’ll look into that naltrexone I’ve never heard of it from any sites I’ve been looking at ?

Where are you from ?

Thank you again xx

I live in western KY on Ky Lake. As I said I've only been on LDN for 4 months but I feel like I have my life back. Of course being off Cymbalta has helped my brain fog & balance. I'm no longer falling all the time.

I'd never heard of it either but it has few side effects & is safe for my kidneys so I figured I'd try it. I had to ask mmy doc about it. It wasn't suggested by them. My kidney disease is from the reflux from my new bladder. And I'm sure all the crap docs have put me on didn't help! Just research it & see what you think. I wish you luck. I will be here for you if you need me. I'm just an achy old horse lovin country girl tryin to get by...😊

God bless you
