Hi ring CAB they will help ,make sure you get someone else to fill in for you even CAB they word it in a way we can't first time I tryed I did it myself and I filled it in as if I was on a well day not a worse ,if you are in social housing ( I hate that term) they have specialt to help with things like that to ,it easy enough to get hold of form and I am sure one of the administrators will give you the link ,it takes ages to come to interview so the sooner you apply the better ,they will back date it if you get it. Good luck. X

Brilliant advice by Shadow-walker. If you can't get help in either of those ways try the benefit and works internet site as they have some marvellous guides to follow. They also have a kind of assessment calculator which you fill in and it gives you a good idea as to whether you might be successful with PIP. Good luck, I will have to be applying in April and I doubt whether I will get it.

Hello if you go onto the mother site. fibroaction.org You will find information about benefits on the top right hand side of the page.

I hope this helps and good luck in claiming.

Hugs sue

I want to wish you all the best of luck with your claim.

All my hopes and dreams for you

The PIP thing is always a problem so here is some information that I have received from the Lifestyle magazine from the charity Motability. This may be helpful to all memebrs who are filling in forms for PIP.

Aged 3-16 DLA will remain for children under 16. Young people will not be invited to claim for PIP until they are atleast 16 years of age.

Aged 16-64*

If you live in Wales, East Midlands, West Midlands, or East ANGLIA OR YOUR pOST cODE BEGINS WITH DG, EH, TC,ML,CA, DL, HG, LA, or YO you will be invited to apply for PIP rather than renew tour DLA. For the most up-to-date information on changesa to reassessment areas, visit gov.uk/pip.

If you do not live in a PIP reassessment area you will be invited to renew your DLA and will be reassessed for PIP at some point after October 2015.

Aged 16-64* with a 'lifetime' or 'indefinate' DLA award.

From October 2015 to 2018, DWP will reassess all DLA recipients who have not yet been invited to make a claim for PIP. Thjis includes those with a 'lifetime' or 'indefinate' award.

65 and over.

DWP currently has no plans to introduce PIP for DLA recipients aged 65 or over on the day that PIP was introduced (8 April2013). Anyone who turned 65 after 8 April 2013 will be reassessed for PIP at some point after October 2015.

In all cases, there is no need to make a claim for PIP until you are individually contacted by DWP at some point between October 2013 and 2018.

I went on the gov.uk/pip web site and chose the 1st option, CheckHow Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Affect You, then it gave so information, the Start Here, clickrd the box, then asked if get DLA, Yes, click next box, then asks for date of birth, in put, click box, then it comes back with a reply about my personal application time line.

I hope this provides some helpful information for all members who are going to PIP applications and helpful time lines. I get the idea the dwp don't want applications until they are ready for them, and they want to 'invite' you, ooo get that. TTFN
