hi guys,I'm doing my 2nd ivf at the moment after a failed one. Egg collection was yesterday. They managed to collect 12 eggies n all of them fertilised. Wanted to ask what days did u all transfer ur eggies n what are the outcome pls. My first they transferred on day 5 but poor quality which didn't get to blastocyst. I'm worried it might be the same this time. Anyone who had their egg collection yesterday? Looking for ivf buddy. Thank u

My case differs. Me - dx severe endo. dh has low sperm count and motility. Gave a try to IUIs, ICSIs, but ended with IVF using donor egg overseas. It took us 3 shots to conceive. My endo never made the treatments easier. Had surgeries, felt constant pains and painful intecourse. Were trying to deal with own eggs unless our new dr told us they were useless..Every time they placed back 2 nice 5day blasts. Our third shot was successful though one of our embies vanished..We have a wonderful boy now. Wishing you the best of luck and support on your way x

Thank u for ur reply. Congratulations on having a boy:). I had laparoscopy in February to remove cysts on my ovary n they didn't come back, thank god for that. My first ivf was in September n it failed due to poor quality eggs. This time it's better we put 2 back yesterday. Hopefully atleast one will stick. Sorry to hear ur endo is making things hard for u,it's horrible. Glad u have a boy. :)

Hi there, sorry to hear about failed IVF. Though it's very effective against infertility sometimes it takes more than a couple of rounds to pull through... so don't get dissuaded by the failures. If it's all 5-day blast and assuming you're going for FET, then you really do not have much choice but do it around 5 days preparing of the uterus to receive the viable embryo. As you have had around already you'll know the drill, you need to be on estrogen from 15-20 days to help with uterus lining. Followed by a scan to check the lining and then if it seems alright you get to take the Cyclogest for the next 5-6 days depending on the embryo you're using. What you can do to increase your chance of success a bit over this round is if you get PGS tested... it helps in getting you the best of the lot you see.

You're doing just fine and everything will be better soon. Good Luck

Hi! Firstly, let me wish you all the best of luck ahead with your ivf cycle! 12 eggs is a good number, hoping you'll get at least 4-5 perfect embies from them. I never did 3day transfers myself. All our options were 5day blasts transfer. Still my eggs failed to work out. so we had to turn to donor eggs. Our clinic guarantees at least 3 A grade embies for the ET. Whilst our last shot they transferred 2 perfect blasts. and I truly thought both they would make their home inside. Moreover, it would be great for us to end up with twins. We did want this so badly! But one of our embies vanished. Another one resulted in a healthy baby boy born via C-section. We've recently been through another round ivf with the same clinic abroad. Again, they put back 2 blasts, but only one made it. I don't know why this happened again. for some reason my body rejects the second one. but we're satisfied we've had luck :) Keeping you in my thoughts xx

Oh yeh, one more thing. Have you considered accupuncture? It really triggers the body's all-natural therapeutic properties. Acupuncture is now commonly employed to assist with infertility. Also you may try fertility diet together with acupuncture. Below are a couple of ideas to increase chances:

Heat cooked foodstuff are strongly advised, especially root greens. Rooster soup with ginger is typically suggested. Incorporate veggies these kinds of as cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts and cauliflower. These meals include di-indolymethane which will increase the metabolic rate of estradiol which will help the physique use it far more efficiently. Of course it's better to ask your dr on the point. Good luck!

Hi Andylins, thank u so much for the information,I really appreciate it. I'll change my diet n eat more healthy. I'm happy to hear urs worked, sad the then other embaby vanished. But im glad u have ur boy, sometimes it's hard to understand why that happens. I have never done acupuncture before but I'm willing to try that. Thank you again,ur information is really helpful.
