I had a follow consultation yesterday following our first ivf cycle which ended in miscarriage. The Dr. recommended that I have the following blood tests and suggested that I try to get them on the nhs via my gp. I have a feeling I’m not going to get them but was wondering if any of you have had any luck getting them from your gp at all?
- Karyotype blood test
- Antiphospholipid syndrome screen (Lupus antigen and cardio-lipin antigen)
- Thrombophilia screen
Thank you!

Iv got these from nhs miscarriage clinic. Although she did say nhs are stopping the karyotype on 1St December don't know if that's with my local hospital or, all over xxx
Thank you both, I’ll try and get in with my gp to discuss. I’ve already asked to be referred to the miscarriage clinic but my gp ‘couldn’t guarantee’ I’d get a referral. Not very helpful! Thanks again 😊 xxx
