Day 21 progesterone levels.. a bit confused

Hi ladies

I tend to ovulated on day 19 or 20 of a 31 day cycle so have a short leutal phase. When do i do may day 21 progesterone blood test? 7 days after ovulation or on day 23 or 24?

Day 21 should be from when you started your period unless your doctor has advised you otherwise? Xxx

But I ovulated on day 20 bit 14?
