IVF DIET!

afternoon ladies

just after some advice on foods to eat/avoid during this process? my diet isn't great and my BMI is 29 and if it reaches 30 in the process (it shouldn't do) then im told everything stops!

we start injections on the 27th of august for long protocol, baseline scan booked for 15th September

I've been told by my acupuncturist a high protein and low carb diet is best

You want to be aiming for 75grams of protein per day !

I'm waiting to start my 2nd round and no one discussed diet with me during my first round (unsuccessful) So unsure how effective diet change would be

My BMI is same as yours & was told cannot go higher. I tried to eat healthy but found I was craving junk food once treatment started. Unfortunately treatment had to be stopped & I'm due to start nasal spray again on Tuesday. I spoke to a nurse about my diet & she told me to not be so hard on myself. Start by drinking lots of water & go for a walk every day & that would clear my head so wouldn't feel the need to comfort eat so much. So far it's helped me feel better.
