IVF in Ukraine, our positive result through years of trying

In July, we turned to your reproductive center with the problem of getting pregnant. For 8 years we were treated in other clinics, but there was no result. We arrived at the CRM "New Life", we were examined and got an accurate diagnosis. We were treated according to the doctor's prescription and did everything as the doctor said. Now we are waiting for the birth of a small happiness. Thank you very much to Inna Drozdova and all the staff of the "New Life". Low bow to you for humanity!

Kind regards

I am glad that everything went smoothly for you and you finally will have your little princess soon. Currently my husband and I also deal with infertility issue. We visited one of the Ukrainian clinics for a free consultation. But we didn`t like it all. I understand that 30k euros for 5 rounds are really cheap. But we didn’t like the atmosphere there. Everybody rushes somewhere. The line to the doctor`s cabinet was really long. We were waiting for ages in order to get the consultation.

Could you say please which round of IVF treatment was successful?

Kind regards

Everyone has certain criteria when looking for a suitable health facility and you did the right thing by not settling for a clinic that does not satisfy your criteria. I'm sure not every clinic is same even if it's the same city and a country has far wider scope for differences. Recently I've come across some posts on irresponsible behaviour at some fertility clinic by the staff... and that was well within her locality in the UK. So, there could be good clinics even in Ukraine as well... Natalie is an example of that! :) A lot of people end up going to India for the organ transplant, hip reconstruction, knee replacement etc. as a part of their medical tourism. I've heard it costs 1 third of what it would in UK and a lot of people are living happy n healthy life after they've been back. But if you check the shortcomings of medical facilities n people's grievances in India you'll be daunted to choose to suffer than to have yourself operated there. All I mean is people have different priorities and desperation... we shouldn't settle for anything as long as we're not satisfied but that shouldn't make us generalise the shortcomings really. Wish you luck for finding a great clinic soon and begin your assisted fertility process! :)

It's great news that everything worked out well with you guys and soon you'll have your own bundle of joy finally! :) I'm so happy for you. Every success story is like an impetus to carry on with my own struggles without complaining... as I'm being pumped with the hope that someday soon even I'll get to taste the success with conceiving. I'm not sure if it's the same clinic I was redirected to a Ukrainian fertility clinic's website while reading on reproductive tourism, but it too surely offered some comforting assurances. Repeat try packages at affordable prices, donor conception assistance and even help with the paperwork if anyone is going for surrogacy. In short, it was quite impressive! Since we won't be covered for subsequent tries if our first round IVF fails, I guess we'll have to look for affordable alternatives. Thanks a ton for sharing your success story... it truly inspires us the aspiring mothers. God bless you and your child... stay well!

Hi! I can definitely relate. We've been treated at Bio texcom, Kiew. Since our first visit to the clinic we understood we've made the right choice when headed off for treatments in Ukraine. We did ''guaranteed'' package with them. Meaning you have 5 attempts to fall prego. If no luck within those 5 rounds in a row they will refund all money paid back! So for 10k euros you get: Unlimited number of attempts (regardless how many attempts it will take you, if you are healthy enough and want to continue treatments, they will try unless you get your kid!). Then you may use donor eggs (if needed) for no additional price. You get all needed meds included into the package price. Accommodation. Huge donor databse to choose from. And other services like interpreter's services and legal assistance. The worst thing I used to read about them is that they answer the emails quite slow. But really I don't mind if I know I have all chances to get my baby at the end!

We were in Ukraine too. Prices in local fertility clinics are very good!

Anything like this?~~

1 attempt - 4900 euro in 1 installment after you sign the contract. In case selective reduction is needed we will be charged 1000 euro additionally.

2 attempts - 6900 euro in 2 equal installments. Selective reduction is covered by the package price.

5 attempts - 9900 euro in 2 equal installments. In case of 5 negatives – money refund. Selective reduction is covered by the package price as well.

Thanks for sharing your story. Congrats! I guess I figured that if I had good ovaries and a good uterus this would have work out since we skipped over my tubes. I did some research and I read that usually it takes a couple rounds before people are successful with ivf. After two years of being on this roller coaster my positivity had really gone down. All of my friends had babies of their own. so I just felt like they really didn't know what I was going through and how depressing it was. My husband had been great and so positive through that whole thing. but I just felt like I had been so focused on this! I just wanted to go into the next transfer with a clear mind and body. I was trying to get in touch with God again and to trust that he had a plan for me. We finally ende dup with using donor eggs with ivf in BTC resulting in our first ever DS. Then aftre some time passed we turned back for a sibling for him. This path is difficult and all demanding but we know what we're doing all this for.

2ww is the toughest phase of all, I’d say! We passed de ivf overseas, in Kiev, BTC. It was absolutely new exciting journey for us both. During my cycle I joined ‘cycle buddies’ forum and it was a great source of support. There’s loads of other forums too, and the women that I’ve ‘chatted’ with on the site were extremely kind and helpful. The other thing that really helped me was humour. I kept the radio in my car set to the 24 hour comedy station. My husband and I watched funny movies. I was more antsy during the second week. And my husband was very good at reasoning with me not to test early. We waited until the day the clinic told us. I was really glad we did. Anyway, throughout the two weeks, I made sure I kept busy. I did yoga more often. I know this phase is tough to go through. Sometimes it feels like in dog’s time - years than weeks…
