Incredibly anxious about 1st tracking scan tomorrow AM

I've been on Gonal injections for five days and have my first tracking scan tomorrow morning - really really hope I'm responding !!! First hurdle

Just got a call from hospital - bloods back and u have to increase my Gonal from 300 to 375. Is this a good thing? I take it this is a high dose? Arghhh just when I thought things were progressing, I'm now worried I'm not responding aswell as I had hoped.

I agree with what others have said. During my IVF, I found that I got the best response when they upped the dose (to a level similar to yours), and it seems to have been worth it so far. Am wishing you lots of luck.

Hi. Not to worry about drug doses. This is the beauty of scanning and blood tests, they can be “upped and downed” as needed. It’s when they can’t go “up” any more that the worry starts. However, even if that should happen, there are other protocols that can be tried. All the best with it and keeping everything crossed for you. Kind regards Diane

I would say exactly what Diane has said, better to do the scan and adjust then get to the end and then find a problem, so don't worry. Good luck
