2 Years TTC..blood tests after test - Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, underactive thyroid and now fibroids...HELP

Been TTC for 2 years now; passed from doctor to doctor. Last doctor advised will not be funded on NHS for IVF...can anyone advise, as really need encouraging right now

Hi. Sorry to hear that you have been given the “run-around” by your doctors. Perhaps there is no funding for infertility treatment in your area, but it would seem logical for you to be referred for treatment for the fibroids you have, especially if they are causing you any discomfort. Perhaps then your fertility will return, providing that your diabetes and underactive thyroid are under control. Perhaps go back to your GP and ask him/her for a referral to a gynaecologist for investigations and appropriate treatment for the fibroids. I wish you well with the outcome.

Thanks Diane! Yes, I do believe I have been given the run around. I went back to my GP, only just tonight, and I broke down, I think with 2 Years of frustration. I hope finally now, especially after the results of my scan, I can start moving forward.
