Well it's happened and I've tested positive tonight for COVID 😓 I'm on steroids and my clinic said if I did get COVID (as my husband has had it) they will need to reduce my steroids....but not sure why and bit nervous about this!
So paranoid this is going to affect the embryo success....as to if it will work or not....I'm 11DPT
Anyone else had similar and it's been ok?
Xx

I don’t think it will affect your embryo but I’ve also ended up with Covid whilst on steroids but I tested positive after a negative pregnancy test. They must suppress our immune system & make us more susceptible to catching things! I hope you don’t feel too bad with it & good luck for when you test! 🍀
Hope you feel better soon Your little embryo is a snug as a bug in the rug - safe & sound But for extra assurance please discuss your concerns with your clinic
I think I may have commented on another one of your posts. I had COVID during my tww and I was okay so far (20 weeks now). The main thing my doc said was to keep my fever down because that is known to affect embryos. So if you don’t have a fever, I’m sure you’ll be okay. Not sure about the steroid part as I only took them before transfer, which is probably why I got COVID since it drops your immune system.
