3rd transfer

hi everyone had my 3rd transfer on Thursday with a 3AB blasto

Never seen a positive test yet

I know everyone is different but when should I start worrying about my lining not being sufficient to accept these transfers ! They say they cannot see anything and lining is always been between 12 and 14 mm

Your lining sounds perfect, have they changed anything since your other transfers or same protocol ? X

No not changed a thing . I’m going through the nhs so so dont think they do bloods etc .. just pessarys x 2 per day and 3 progynova tablets daily .. xx

Hmm there are things they can change on the NHS it depends on your consultant and your reason for needing treatment. I’ve had NHS and private, on NHS there was a few things they tried different but it’s jumping the gun a bit your only a couple of days past transfer - this might be your round ! Xx

Thanks for your reply . Will continue to stay positive , i know the next time if required they said they would increase the injections strength to hopefully yield more embryos but I never get bloods checked etc xx

Hi!!

Just wanted to say that my 3rd transfer was my first ever positive and is now my son!!

I know it’s so tough but try and take it one day at a time! 3rd transfers can definitely be successful 😉

We didn’t change anything as such in that positive FET, just 6 progynova daily rather than 3 as my lining hadn’t got to over 7mm prior to that. Crinone twice daily, so a simple medicated FET. Good Luck ☘️

Thanks so much for your reply . I’m really hoping 3rd time lucky . I’m always worried about my lining being too thick (12-14 mm ) and that’s before I start pessaries . This was our lowest grade blasto but I know grades don’t mean very much . Xx

I know, we always second guess so many things but if your clinic are happy with your lining then I think it’s a good sign that’s it’s not an issue.

We transferred 2 embryos on our 3rd and both actually implanted - 1 was a day 6 A and the other was a day 5 C so we do know which is our son 😃

We lost the 2nd baby around 8 weeks but we did expect that as although there was a heartbeat at the viability scan it was measuring almost a week behind - thankfully all went well with the other baby who is 3 now and wanting a lollipop for breakfast 🙄😂

Edited to add I really wish you all the best with this cycle and I’m hoping for the darkest 2nd line on OTD 😃

Aww thanks and same to you !! I feel like hibernating until test day . My clinic said test after 14days but last time it was 10 days 😞. To be honest I don’t really have a feeling about this transfer ( positive or negative ) just really hope this is 3rd time lucky 🍀

Oh that’s such a long time to wait isn’t it. Mine is 30th, so 11dpt. I also think I’m going to try and not test early, I have done both before and sometimes I torture myself so think I will not test any earlier than Sunday, so that it’s the weekend and I can wallow if needed. But hopefully not! I know, it’s so hard when you keep going isn’t it. Really hope you get success this time 🤞. It’s my 10th transfer 🙃. It was my 3rd egg collection. And it was my only euploid embryo from having them tested. I had much poorer numbers this time. And was the first time I had had them tested. So I feel like so much is riding on this one. I have previously had 2 positive tests but never resulted in an ongoing pregnancy. Both of those times I had some spotting, but I had really awful transfers (as in painful and a struggle to get them in) so it could have been from that. I’m the same as you, I keep getting in my head thinking it hasn’t worked but then thinking I am being stupid at 3dpt! I wouldn’t say I have symptoms really. I’ve had the odd twinge, not cramps. Have you had any symptoms as such? I get so hyper aware of every single thing and over analyse it all. Xxx

I’m the exact same I think we tell ourselves it’s not going to work to protect ourselves ❤️ also I try to play me feelings down a bit for my husbands sake as I hate seeing him so disappointed.

My first egg collection I had 7 retrieved and 3 made it to blasto ( I’m at Glasgow nhs) so don’t think they test them like yours . I could be doing all this and none were sufficient in the first place 😢

I really really have so much respect that you’ve done this 10 times ! I don’t know where I will find the strength however I keep telling myself I’m lucky

To have this chance on the NHS xxxxx
