Hi ladies

I’m only 6dp5dt so I know the idea of having symptoms is crazy but here’s my question. I have had multiple IVFs and FETs all BFN so I kind of know the tww crazies. All the boob pain, cramps etc I know is progesterone I’ve had it all before but I have never woke up so hungry I need to eat asap and evening same for the past two nights. Could this be the prednisone? I have never had that in a cycle before or this symptom/side effect.

Progesterone made me hungry, but certainly steroids increase my appetite too. Have you had steroids before?

Have you tried drinking loads of water, in the hope maybe your body is mistaking thirst for hunger also?

I also managed to put a stone on for the 9 weeks I was pregnant 🙄. I definitely had a massive hunger increase, the progesterone added to the hunger too, as did the pregnancy giving pain relief from my Adenomyosis and Endometriosis.

I hope your extra hunger is good news for you 🙏❤️💐 x

yes steroids increase appetite, they also mask a lot of other symptoms, so really impossible to know. Keeping everything crossed for you!

that would be the steroid! I put on more weight on the steroid than I have throughout my pregnancy. Eat and enjoy, once I came off it my appetite went back to normal. You are eating just for you as you aren’t feeding your embryo just yet so enjoy it!

Hi. Plenty of time for ,synptoms, but I do hear of more ladies getting extremely tired. Just keep up with all prescribed medications, follC acid and vitamin D, then testy early morning urine. If not already done get your Fallopian tube checked for blockages, so that you do not have any risk of excess lubrication dripping into the womb and interfering with implantation. Also having a hysteroscopy to check inside of womb and biopsy the lining. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane
