How to taper down prednisone after failed FET?

I had a negative BHCG yesterday on 10d5dpt.

I was on prednisone 7.5 mg. I read it can’t be abruptly stopped. My doctors are unreachable on account of the weekend.

any advise on how my dosage can be tapered?

or shall I just continue 7.5 until I get hold of an appointment?

I was on 20mg a day (4 tablets )

When I had to stop was told to reduce by 1 tablet take for 3 days so 3 tablets for 3 days then reduce by another 2 x tablets for 3 days

Then reduce another so 1 times 3 days then 1 miss a day one miss a day for 3 days then stop but say your on lower dosage than I was maybe take what you was until you have spoken to your clinic

Thanks for the quick response ❤️ May I know if you have had any positive experiences with prednisone for pregnancy ? I am completely unsure now what the doctor will plan for me next.

Hi. Just reduce by 2.5mgs for a week, then another 2.5mgs till you’re on last 2.5mgsfor third week, then you can stop, or take the low dose foe three times if you have any left. Do it this way and you shouldn’t get any aches. Diane
