Anyone else experienced this, I am 17 days post transfer and we had a positive test on Monday , thus morning I woke up to brown discharge not too much but in my pj's and when u wiped, lasted for about 3/4hrs no pains but major headaches and dizziness for 2 days now. Discharge has stopped now but I'm so on edge o don't want to leave the house I'm constantly crying and convinced this is all over, every time I feel something I'm checking to see if it's blood. Please tell me someone has had this and it's been ok, the private hospital were at won't do anything untill my scan date in 3 weeks u less it's bright red, I just want reassurance that our little much awaited and wanted miracle is OK 😪.

Hey lovely, congratulations first if all. I had spotting with my first frostie (who is currently sat next to me) for around 12 weeks and even included pink at times. The nurse said that pregnancy can do all sorts to your body and that it gets in all. your nooks and crannies, so really could just be nothing and if your in pesseries it could just be irritation
The wait for your scan is horrible, something I didn't expect and just as bad as the tww if not worse, but it really will be here before you know it. Take every day one step at a time, at times, I had to take it hour by hour to just get through and occupy myself. All the best and can't wait for the update on your little bean xxx
Thankyou for your reply, im feeling much more positive today, I've had nothing since I write the post yesterday so fingers crossed sometimes i feel I'm jinxing myself if I get positive again then it will all be ruined n go 😪 I'm just taking 1 day at a time , it's not too hard when ubwork 7days a week 😊.
I didn't even listen to the radio for the whole time I was pregnant, thinking somehow it would jinx me so I know how you feel! I hope that there comes a time where you start to feel more relaxed and get to enjoy some of it 😘 but even if you feel on edge all the way through, know that that's OK too!! ❤️ xxx
Hi, I’m 12 days post BFP and waiting for my scan in 10 days. I have had all sorts of discharge. I’ve done a lot of research and it seems to be normal. Some women have discharges some don’t. From my understanding a MC would be super heavy bleeding so not brown discharge. The only thing we can do is indulging ourselves and doing our best to stay positive.I keep on asking my little lentil to stick around and telling my body we can do it 💪🤞
Hi Becky. Oh bless you! This is sooo common and often due to old blood coming away from an irritated cervic. Try using pessaries in your back passage if it continues. Drink plenty of water in case you are developing an infection. Speak to your GP if it persists. Hopefully it will soon settle down. Diane
First of all, Congrats. 🌈
I had red blood spots for around 20 mins and other liquid discharge for around an hour on the day before my scan. This was 6w6d. My clinic just asked me to wait and come of the scan as planned. I was terrified it was all over but saw the baby and HB when i felt ok. I was still not convinced and i asked for another scan on 7w4d when i had my midwife appointment to see the baby once again. All was well and today at 8 weeks.
Apparently this is quite common in pregnancy and nothing to worry, hence the clinics are also asking us to wait. I understand how stressful this can be, and I asked my doctor the same question. She mentioned as long as it is not uterine cramps which last longer and are so uncomfortable so that you cannot walk or sit, and there is continuous bleeding, they don't ask you to come in. Also clinics don't do a scan till 5+ weeks(if they have been your IVF clinic) and 7+ weeks if they are regular gyn clinics.
Good luck with your scan. 🤞❤️🍀
