I am on my 2ww period..I suffered 1 chemical pregnancy and 2 miscarriages in my last 3 attempt everytime I took off from my work... But this time I wish to continue my routine work and I m going to office. My office is very near to my home so traveling is not an issue, but sitting time is 10 hrs. Shd I continue or take off??

6th cycle 8th transfer.. 2WW onnnnShd I continue my job or shd take leave??
Hello Priyashsrma,I had 7 transfers in total and I was working every single time, after each transfer. Only day of the transfer was my day off. My work can be a mixture of sitting and standing/walking. I have a son from the 1st attempt, and was pregnant two more times after FET (but ended un MC). I do not think it matters. I think you should follow your gut feeling, what's right for you. Myself I can't imagine to be at home during 2ww - it would be a torture. I need to be occupied.
Good luck!!!!
I rest the day after transfer as well. So around 2 days off and then start regular routine. I rest when I am tired and take my day as it comes. I work 40 hours a week and mostly sitting for the job.
I am 6dp5dt today. Transfer was wed, rested Thursday, resumed regular work and projects Friday. Keeps your mind off .
This is my 4th transfer, have had 2mmc, and 1 did not take. The first transfer i rested the whole 2ww, I did get a positive but lost it around 6 weeks. The second 1 did not take. 3rd one I was working as I was not ready to be at home. I did get pregnant and lost it around 9 weeks.
Wishing you the best with yours. 🍀❤️🤞✨🤗🌈
You only really need to take it easy for 3 days. After that I’m sure it’s fine for you to go to the office. Just make sure you have regular trips to the kitchen to keep mobile. I worked from home during mine and probably didn’t get up enough but I was fine.
I had two chemicals - one I took a day off, one the whole 2ww and rested a lot but they ended the same way. My first FET I had run out of leave and couldn't keep putting my life on hold after spending most of the year having rounds of treatment. I literally stopped working for the 20min procedure itself and then went into a very busy and stressful period at work, doing very long hours. That one was successful. So I don't think there is much you can do within reason to change the outcome, I think it's more if it wasn't successful, whether you'd then beat yourself up over having done or not done something. If it's the sitting that's concerning you, could you set an alarm to get up and walk around every half hour or so, and maybe try a bit of gentle exercise/walking around working hours or over lunch? I think that's general health advice now anyway for us slovenly office workers, although I rarely manage it
Hi Priya Sharma I usually carry on as normal during the 2ww to keep myself busy and to keep me from testing early! As long as you don't have strenuous job I would ho to work and try take regular walking breaks if you can. All the best!
