I have officially decided that progesterone is a twat 😂 I swear I have had every side effect from the stuff just to mess with my head….

Progesterone…. ‘She’s not thought about ivf for 2 hours oooo let’s send her a wee boob ache’

Me… ‘ouch ooo is this a sign’

Progesterone….. ‘she’s relaxing almost asleep, go on poke her bladder … she’s needs to pee’

Me …’aww ffs I need the toilet again’ zzzz

It’s been a crazy week, I have felt every symptom imaginable at one point or another most of it quite probably in my head. But I am still standing strong 💪 who knows what’s going to happen on monday.

We have been ttc for 10 years, doing ivf for 5 this is transfer number 4 and we already have 2 bfns and a cp under our belt.

The ivf journey is so difficult mentally and physically. My stomach is huggge and I will be glad to see the back of clexane that’s a nippy wee bugger. But my husband and I have bonded and laughed … numerous times he has almost stabbed himself with the needles 😂😂 we wish everyone soo much love and good luck xxx

Ahh best of luck for Monday! Totally agree, progesterone just loves to mess with our heads 😂 and pessaries are prettyyy darn gross to top it off! ❤️ Xx

Progesterone and I are not friends either. I can't say I've had a lot of the symptoms you describe, but I go straight into medically prescribed sick leave after just a couple of days on the pessaries because of severe fatigue. And if I succeed getting pregnant the effect just continues with my own progesterone up to w39 or something 🙈🙈🙈 And still I'm trying to get pregnant again. I'm a crazy woman 🙈🙈🙈

Well done on making it so far! Not long now. And, yes, Progesterone is the freaking worst. I’m only 3dp and I’ve swollen up like a balloon. Never been so constipated on my entire life, and already wondering how I’ll survive to 10dp!

Hear hear! Progesterone is horrible . I look about five months pregnant ….. am so frickin tired….. hangry constantly and aching like I’m about to get AF. And I’m only 3dp2dt 😫😫😫. We can do this (again) ladies !!!!!

Same here ! This time I made it to 9dp6dt without testing … last transfer I tested earlier as I was 100% sure to get a positive result and totally shocked when my test came back stark white 😔 and Beta 0 three days later . Progesterone can definitely mess up with our heads ! My blood test is tomorrow as well … finger crossed 🤞🏼
