Has anyone bled and being ok at 8dp 5dt?

I'm 8dp 5dt and I have tested positive since 4dp 5dt.. Can't believe how quickly this has ended I have started bleeding already

Hi, just to say that I spoke to a nurse yesterday to report a positive pregnancy test. She specifically said not to worry if there is bleeding, as it is normal at this stage .

I’ve been okay and not okay too with bleeding at 8dpt. I would phone your clinic as they may want to test your HCG 48 hours apart and some like to increase progesterone too if early bleeding with a positive. Hoping it continues for you and it definetly doesn’t always mean the worst when we are early bleeding (it’s really common especially for IVF pregnancies) but I know it’s very worrying 🤗 xxx

Thank you for your reply, I contacted a lady who works there she gave me her personal number and she said to still come to my scan on the 25th so I'm still taking my pessarys and tablets as normal.. But it's hard not to think the worst.. Did you bleed alot or just a little if you don't mind me asking xx

The 25th of this month or next? It would be quite/too early for tomorrow to see anything on a scan but a long wait if next month if you continue to bleed so I would phone them directly if you do continue to bleed. With my successful pregnancy I bled a HUGE amount, some days with large clots and then other days brown blood, for the first 10 weeks. I had a subchorionic hematoma though and had to have bed rest. It was different from my MC as I didn’t have strong cramps along with it. On both occasions though my clinic took my bloods for HCG at around 5 weeks (they don’t normally do this only when bleeding) for one my HCG was declining (mc) for the other it was nearly 20k so they booked me for a scan and saw sac and fetal pole and the hematoma. I would give it another week or so and hopefully it calms down but if not I would phone the clinic directly xxx

Thanks for the reply I can't believe you bled with clots, what's the reason for the bleeding I don't get it.. The brown cervical mucus has gone now but its still scaring me.. I darent take a test because I'm scared of seeing just one line after having positives xx

You just need to do what’s best for you to get through but hopefully that’s it bleeding wise and you just have the wait for the scan now 🤗, I was a serial tester 🙈 so yeah don’t test if it stresses you I can totally understand that xx

there’s quite a few reasons for early bleeding especially in IVF but mine was a subchorionic hematoma which is where there’s a bruise between the embryo attaching and womb lining caused when the embryo implants. They could see it on the scan. Luckily with bed rest it bled out and healed itself thankfully xx

It's crazy that people bleed and they never normally know the reason, did you bleed quite badly or not? It was only in my cervical mucus but it was dark brown... I havnt seen anything today and I tried to stop testing but then after the spotting it sent me into panic mode and I thought if I just took a test I could see if its darker or lighter to see where I stood xx

It’s sounds pretty normal, test darkness can vary for a few reasons so I used a digital weeks indicator to see if that was progressing but they can also be wrong so you’re rona my doing the best thing, I just didn’t have the will power or patience to not test xx

Congrats. I had bleeding on 7dp5dt and a month later. It was light and I was able to go full term and now have a healthy baby boy 😊. Don’t worry.

It's strange I had dark brown cervical mucus last night and a tiny bit of lighter brown this morning but I have just done a pessary and nothing was there it's like it's all gone xx
