Can someone please recommend where I can get IVIG admistered in the UK or abroad at a reasonable price. The fertility clinic I'm with at the moment are charging £2000 for this!
I would greatly appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

There's a company called independent nursing services in London that might do it. They used to be near Harley Street but I heard they moved.I got a decapetyl injection administered there for £25. You will have to supply any medication though.
We had our IVF treatment in Czech Republic. I didn't have an IVIG drip but they are significantly cheaper for other treatments. It might be worth checking with clinics there. I think it's the same price for treatments at all Czech clinics.
I will email the czech clinics and check if they do it. Im sure if they do it, it will be significantly cheaper than the Uk. I need 2 LITS as well. It's all going to add up so would help if I can get a cheaper option for the ivig.
Did you have the NK cell test which tells you which treatment works best for your blood? I didn't have this test but just went for the intralipids instead of IVIG as my clinic didn't offer IVIG . Intralipids were £240 a drip and it worked for me - currently 14 weeks. I had 1 at start of down reg, 1 2 weeks prior to transfer then 1 day after BFP and 1 a month later.
Hi thank you for replying. Yes I've had my results back for NK cell test. The Dr I'm seeing from the London clinic said I need intralipid infusion and LIT.The intralipid infusion did work better but he's not prescribing steroids so I'm not sure if that's the reason he saolid I need the IVIG. Im having the intralipid and LIT next week at his clinic so can ask him then if I can have more intralipids rather than the IVIG.
I'm about 3 weeks away from having a transfer so maybe that's why. Not sure.
Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope all is going well for you.
Hey, my miscarriage specialist has said they are now allowing steroids. They were banned during the pandemic but ban has been lifted. I also have raised nk cells too which is why I take them from a positive pregnancy test to 12 weeks. Xx
I had my follow up consultation yesterday and did ask about the steroids and the Dr said due to covid he's not prescribing them. I'm contemplating calling the clinic and asking to have them. Not sure what to do
I would definitely double check- I've seen other ladies use steroids recently from fertility clinics. I guess clinics might have different policies and they might think the IVIG is a better option for you. I get you'd want to everything to give it the best chance I'd be exactly the same. Xx
Hi. Hope you dont mind me butting in. I had my FET done yesterday and if i get a positive pregnancy test (fingers crossed) i will be on steroids. But iv been toldI will still have to isolate (unless they change rules further down the line) and clinic based in Manchester. So just keep that in mind. ☺️
Not at all. I wanted to take the steroids as well but can't as won't be able to isolate because of work, unless rules change down the line. Is your ivf clinic based in Manchester? Will you be having intralipids as well following a positive pregnancy test?
I will message u privately if you dont mind as i have a couple of questions. Im on nhs cycle so my recurrent clinic will be giving me steroids even though they havnt found anything and i havnt been tested for nk cell. Do what you think is right. As far as i know isolating is till definitely in play atm
I see! So I'm not too late then. That's fab that it worked out for you. I've messaged the clinic and said if I have a choice in the matter then I'd rather take the steroids. I will see what they say. X
