The embryologist just called. They have managed to freeze 2 more.

Feeling very grateful, my wife has worked so hard to improve her egg quality and it's all paid off 🥰

We now have 7 frozen. Can't wait to start our process again and hopefully have some positive news this year ❤️

I am hoping so, we have had 3 failed, 2 retrievals. I've had lots of answers from immunology/era test. So praying our time will come soon🤞

My wife took the below supplements.

(She made all these changes 4 months before her egg retrieval)

-400mg ubiquinol

-vitamin d

-folic acid

-iron

-omega 3

-vitamin c

-vitamin e

-She cut out alcohol for 4 months

-She cut out caffine completely

-eating 3/4 Brazil nuts daily

-Stopped drinking any fizzy drinks and just stuck to drinking water (atleast 3ltrs per day)

- She was on a Mediterranean diet, and eat fish atleast 2/3 times per week, cut down on carbs, eating lots of brown rice /whole grains

-Cut out sugary foods, cakes, chocolate etc

-Cut out high intensity exercise but ensuring she was still keeping active, walking around 2/3 miles per day.

-Also doing caster oil packs around 2/3 times per week

For her previous egg collection, she didn't make any of the above changes and the changes have definitely helped 😊 x

Incredible. Thank you so much for the detailed reply it’s good to know when these changes make a noticeable difference. Im too late for supplements and things to make a difference for my first round (I’m very aware it will likely not work first time so I’m planning ahead) although I have cut out caffeine and alcohol for a few months. I’ve cut down on sugar massively (haven’t managed to cut it out altogether) but I think I will up my fish intake other than that I think my diets good I’ve only been on pregnacare so I’m conscious I haven’t done enough with supplements but the go ahead was given with only about 5 weeks notice, previous to that we didn’t think we’d even have a chance due to my husbands sperm. Sorry rambling on, I’ll be following your ‘journey’ (hate that word) sending lots of luck xx

Aww thank you. I won't be having a transfer until July time as I'm hoping to bring my thyroid levels down as they are slightly high at the moment

Aww I'm glad 🥰 her previous retrieval the results weren't great at all, but with those changes it's made a huge difference 😊
