2nd round of IVF (ICSI)

Hi everyone. ..I'm new to this platform and it have been so helpful reading through everyone's experiences. I'm 41 and on my 2nd round on IVF (ICSI) and just did my egg collection and had 8 eggs!!!. I'm super excited because 1st round I had only 3 egg and all fertilised and made it to Day 3. We decided on a Day 3 transfer and transferred all 3 because we were told the embryos were better in their natural habitat. But I wished we waited till Day 5 because unfortunately it failed.

1st round I did Gonal F 450 for 12 days. This time I did Gonal F 450 for 4 days and Meriofert 450 for 7 days. Praying to God that this is the cycle that we get our miracle.

I have to use Lubion this cycle due to difficult sourcing Cyclogest. Any one used Lubion? Is it better than Cyclogest and what are your experiences with it?

Thanks Diane ..Yes I guess so. I just thought it would have been better for them to get to the blastocyst stage.🤗🤗

The general consensus is if you have lower numbers of embryos, they may not make it to day 5. The uterus is a better environment for embryos.

Hopefully you will have more embryos this time around that will make it to day 5 if that is what you want.

Thanks JoyfulStar. Yes we were told that. I think its just that all 3 embyros were already well advanced for day 3 so you can't help but think..what if? 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Lubion is more expensive but considered the best as goes straight into blood no chance of waste.
