Does anyone know if there is any truth in co enzyme Q-10 or ubiquinol being good for preserving egg quality? If so what dose would be best?

Hi Lucyann, we used 400mg Ubiquinol a day for a month before and during our last fresh cycle - I do think it helped us get 8 good quality blastocysts compared to 2 medium quality the previous cycle without Ubiquinol. Our protocol was changed slightly too and I had a stronger trigger, so I'm not saying it was completely down to the supplements but I do think they helped. We also added Omega and NAC (both me and my hub). x

Yes I think this makes a difference. I had a better response in my second egg collection age 36 than my egg collection age 34 when taking it. I took the more expensive form recommended in ‘it starts with the egg’ book, ubiquinol I think xx
