I said I would post about my reassurance scan this week so just wanted to say that at 7weeks, 1 day yesterday (clinic has amended dates), we do have a little heartbeat and all is looking fine. We are grateful to have reached this milestone. We have been here twice before and then lost the heartbeat so we certainly don’t feel we are out of the woods yet. I would just like to say that we do not feel in the least bit smug at this point! The lady being scanned for a reassurance scan directly after me at the clinic had very bad news and the nurse had to call her husband in from outside to be with her. I almost starting crying in the reception seeing her devastation. I have been there and know how she feels. Thinking of everyone that is going through that too.
As I’m being monitored by EPU at the hospital I have our 8 week scan next week so we’re keeping everything crossed for that.

Congratulations Hifer, I know you're treading carefully but this is great news! So happy for you, I'm still waiting and am so scared as my symptoms seem to disappear. Lovely way to go into the weekend. Amazing that your EPU are monitoring you closely too xxx
Hun I had this too. On Tuesday morning I had a total breakdown as I felt that I was losing symptoms and kept telling my husband that I had a bad feeling. I was so upset! I did have to book a same day private scan that day to reassure me as I was literally beside myself and couldn’t wait until yesterday. I’ve had more than 1 scan this week! Trust me, I know what you’re going through. Good luck 😘xx

Thank you. I know, we so want to be super positive but I’m finding it really hard. Our history has been quite traumatising! As you say, defo one day at a time and then it’s a bit more manageable. Thank you for being so positive. I hope you’re feeling ok after your this week? Xx
Me too, so so hard! I’m 16 weeks today and still so on the edge 🙈aww you’re sweet to ask, I’m ok thanks....😃got a scan next Saturday so trying to keep calm until then...focusing on food 😂😂😂and counting days....bloody lockdown makes it more difficult though...let’s keep strong 💪🏻 ❤️💋
Awww I'm delighted for you!💕🥰 Lots to be grateful for but yes still scary times ahead. It's always hard seeing others upset, our hearts to out to those that have had that devastating news....especially when we have been there ourselves. Keep us posted on how its going. Oh what amazing news! So so happy and relieved for you! Hope it continues to go well and this is the one! You certainly most deserve it... I’ll be thinking a lot of you in the next weeks and continue crossing fingers and toes this one is making itself rather comfortable for the next 7 or so months! Xxx
That’s fantastic news! I totally understand you aren’t out of the woods yet ( you never feel relaxed to be honest ) but stay positive - that’s all you can do in between scans and fingers crossed for you this is your time! Xx
