Hysteroscopy on NHS?

Hi all,

In Spring of 2020, my partner (we are both women) had a HyCoSy which indicated she had a polyp and needed a hysteroscopy. She was referred back to the NHS and we have been waiting since with no word. Goes without saying that the NHS is very busy right now! But just wondering if anyone had experience of getting one either privately or on the NHS and what would be recommended?

I think the wait is a year. I had one privately via my healthcare. It’s mega bucks unfortunately if you go private, £3.5-£5k.

You can get one at most ivf clinics but I don’t think they remove things and get anything tested.

I had a polyp removed by my private clinic and it was £1500. It had been found during NHS scan and scheduled to be removed there but then covid hit. So I went privately and did a fresh cycle straight after. Xx
