So finally our embaby is on boarrrrd after 2 months + wait, because I've got my period 5 days following egg collection and the next one that we should go for a FET took about 2 months to arrive which I patiently waited because I have an irregular circle normally. So due to OHSS risk we was advice to go for a FET. We've got 17 oocyte collected, 13 fertilised and 12 reached day 5 blastocyst and all freezed.
I'm super excited today although was a little sad earlier as our Doc from day one told us we can transfer 1 or 2 embryos but she recommends 1 due to I'm still young, but she never said we cannot do 2, we emailed her we would like to transfer 2 since it increases our chances but only to find out we would have only 1 transferred few minutes before the transfer. Another thing, they only gave us a paper with the embryo picture without any information of its grade or anything. We really trust the Doctor but we always feels rushed.
Sorry for the long story. I'm just so worried that I was never able to conceive even once from the fast 6 years, that may be it take morethan one embryo for us to get there.
Anyone just started TWW? Let's keep in touch🤞
Baby dust lovelies and thank you for all the supports.
This forum is my number one source of information from day one. Super appreciated 🤗

Good news and great number of embryos at day 5!! Hopefully you can enjoy your 2ww now! I am hoping for a positive outcome for you! 🥰🤞
Yes, I think they will generally only transfer one on the first try and especially with your age. The chances of “good quality” embryos are higher and therefore chances of success. They want to avoid the risk that multiple pregnancies brings with them, both for your and baby’s safety. But later on if there is not success, they may consider transferring more than one. Also if there are only a few embryo’s that seem to develop, I think sometimes if you don’t have many they consider transferring more than one, and if they are not sure they can freeze them.
But hopefully this will be the one for you! 🤞🥰 All the best!!🤞
Thank you Xoxo.🥰Yes that's exactly her point, I was just unhappy that she could not be very clear in the first place after everything is at hand and she had seen the results plus I went in for many appointments afterwards.
But I'm okay now, it was only for some minutes. Just happy now and taking my pomegranate juice with fingers crossed 🤞♥️😇
Wish you a happy and healthy 9 month of pregnancy 😘
Good luck I had FET on Friday I’m day 4 and wishing the time to hurry up . Our clinic only offers 1 transfer at a time as the risk of having a twin pregnancy increases . Hope your ok , a good amount of embryos you have there x
Awwnn Leah you are halfway through already🤩 massive crossed finger for you🤞♥️. Yes I believed same reason that my clinic sticks to just one. Thank you much Xx😇
Well day 4 I’ve got another 2 days for half way , I had a bit of mild tummy ache this morning but it’s gone . No spotting that’s it really I’m taking lubion injection and 2 times cyclogest pessaries. I’ve not had lubion before so I’m quite excited that this might help . When’s your test date date ? Mines 30th x
Yes right👍 my mistake. Cool, Hopefully it will help achieve a massive positive. May be it's with the meds for me coz I begin to feel a lower abdomen discomfort this afternoon too. Ok, mine will be 4th Jan. Are you planning to take a home test before 30th? I think I would do it from 10th day post transfer if I'm strong enough to wait until then😄.
My husband has put the test up high so he can see it lol , I had a chemical last time which wasn’t great . So I’m going to be a good girl and try really hard to resist . I’m at home now from work so I’ve plenty to try and keep my mind busy and a nearly 4 year old to keep my mind busy ,I’m feeling fairly positive Harry was our first FET we had to have another fresh after him so here my first FET on this cycle 🤞 he’s keeping me positive . Xx good luck lovely x
Yeah You have every reason to resist the temptations 😇, in our case both Hubby and myself cannot wait long before testing, so he bought the testing kits already😅, we're both so excited due to it being the first time for us to even have an embryo in there, from the six years of marriage, we only tried clomid before which never worked. So sorry that you had to go through a miscarriage and congratulations on beautiful little Harry🥰. Xxx
