Medications have arrived
Hi Ariel, good luck with your journey. I start mine beginning of jan xxx
Itβs exciting to be starting. I found setting an alarm helped to make sure I was taking injections at same time each day. Fingers crossed for you x
You definitely can do this!! I was the same but once you get started and used to the routine you'll be fine! Good luck βΊοΈ xx
Good luck to you! When do you start? Xx
I can totally remember feeling exactly like this when my first meds arrived! Youβve totally got this though! Take it a step at a time! Good luck! X
Good luck xx
Yay π₯° I also set an alarm to ensure I took my medication at the same time every day. Wishing you all the best for your start in January! You got this ππ₯°
Hey,
I started my medications for our first round of IVF 3 weeks ago. First there was so much information overload and I did not know where to begin! But it all makes sense and the clinic will tell you which meds to take when, so you don't have to stress about seeing the amount of meds!
Some people say to set an alarm for the injections; however I was just so excited to do the injections every day that it was always in the back of my mind.
Every time you will go to the clinic for your scans, you will probably find yourself googling what was said during your visit. Eg. "if you've got 16 follicles with different sizes, you'll probably end up googling all about follicles and their sizes etc".
Just a heads up that everything is a waiting game and it's better if you go into the journey with not getting hung up on exact dates etc until the doctors see how your body reacts to medications. Easier said than done, but try to be relaxed throughout the process.
Best of luck!
Fingers crossed β€οΈ Can you tell me how long after nurse consultation you will start the process of the first IVF?
On 23rd of December we have nurse consultation and I donβt know what can expect when it comes to dates π
I think it probably depends if you are nhs or private and if the clinic has a waiting list now due to COVID. We had our nurse consultants on on the 25th of November, I am currently taking norethisterone to regulate my period and I will be due to start injecting about the 5th of January. We have gone with a private clinic x
