Just wondering if anyone has transferred a frozen embryo/s from a previous round of IVF 5 days after a fresh egg collection?
Currently doing a fresh round, potentially going to PGS test the new ones but have a couple of frozen blasts from previous NHS round and thinking about transferring them during this cycle. Is this too much?
Thanks in advance!

Yes I did - I was doing a 3 cycle package - freezing blastocysts from cycles 1 and 2 and then doing a transfer after the 3rd cycle. I didn’t end up getting any blastocysts on the fresh cycle so transferred 2 frozen ones from cycle 1 and they both stuck and I’m having twins. One was a day 3 which we thawed and cultured to day 5 and the other was a frozen day 6
Thanks so much for this. Such an excellent outcome for you! At the time did they say the odds of success were the same / better / worse as if you’d waited and transferred on a frozen cycle? Xx
They didn’t say BUT this was my 4th transfer and first time we had done this and it worked so it could have been what made the difference but will never know for sure x
