Hello, was due to have a FET but because of random bleeding which clinic don’t think is hormonal I’m now waiting on a Hysteroscopy to investigate something vascular going on which is causing the random bleeding. Has anyone experienced this? So many obstacles to get over.... thanks in advance x

Hi Hels. I have not been in your specific situation so can't offer advice relating to bleeding before FET, but I have had 2 different types of abnormal bleeding. One I bleed for around 5-7 days before my period, which can get heavy sometimes, and no one has a great explanation for (even after hysteroscopy) although they are guessing it may be low-ish progesterone. That has happened for years. The other is I had a cervical ectropion last year that bled like a MF, and that was bleeding unrelated to my cycle. It was so bad I had to leave work one day as multiple combined sanitary protection would not stop it. Most types of abnormal bleeding are nothing serious so please don't worry too much and hopefully the hysteroscopy will help give you an answer. The procedure was quick and not too painful, just intense period cramps, so they usually tell you to take some ibuprofen beforehand unless you can't have it (I took paracet and ibuprofen because I am a wussy). xx
Hi Hels. So sorry to hear this, but I think you're going to have to old out for the hysteroscopy, which hopefully will come up with an answer. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi Hels1975, I was wondering how you got on with your Hysteroscopy. I’m also experiencing something very similar at the moment.
