Sensitive post- dating scan went well.

Hi ladies.

I hope this doesn’t upset anyone.

We had our daughter Francesca June 2019 after a 7 year struggle then somehow to get lucky & conceive again. Never thought we’d be lucky twice at one stage of our journey didn’t think one baby would happen it felt so hopeless.

I had very little symptoms & more spotting with this pregnancy- I bled with my grown up son at 7 weeks, between 6-14 weeks with my daughter mostly brown but did lose fresh blood with clots at 10 weeks & finally this pregnancy I had brown spotting 6 days after ovulation & it continued most days throughout the first trimester I had 5 episodes of red blood some with clots. The difference with those spotting vs my chemical pregnancy was I had pain with CP ( not with those) & the bleeding didn’t just stop it got heavier I knew it was over. I see lots of posts over spotting & hope this can offer reassurance. It’s bloody awful to see any form of bleeding in pregnancy but very common.

I haven’t included a picture as I know it can be upsetting for some to see when having a bad day.

I am so relieved all is well I had to attend alone as partners weren’t allowed it was very hard.

I wish everyone here a happy ending infertility is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to face ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely news Jess! Massive congrats.

As you know, like you we were also trying for 7 years before we concieved naturally and I was put on bed rest a few times throughout my pregnancy due to red and heavy bleeding and clots, I couldn't move - and was afraid to - without bleeding but I rested and eventually the bleeding stopped. I began to enjoy my pregnancy with the belief my baby was coming and was able to go from unmoving to doing pregnancy yoga and aqua-natal.

I add all this in case hopeful mums-to-be are reading this thread and can see there is so much hope.

Like you Jess, my rainbow baby came in June 2019.
