2 Cyst on baseline scan

hello all i am after some real help. day i went for my baseline scan to try a round of IUI after i was a poor responder to IVF last month. my period has already been a week later due to all the meds i was taking and i was over the moon to head to the clinic to start IUI. to my horror i was told i have two cyst in my left ovary. one is 21mm and the other 27mm. .i am very surprised as during mild IVF i only had one follicle on day 13 at 9mm and the other two at 6mm so they cancelled my cycle. i had bloods taken today to measure my hormones level and will know tomorrow if i can continue or not. i am having a lot of pelvic pain but not just on the left. any advice especially around what questions i should ask the nurse tomorrow when they call. i have been doing the castor oil packs daily since i started my period on friday which is soothing.

Hi Rumi. Just read your post, and I assume you have already seen the nurse again. Perhaps they will re scan you to see whether the cysts may need draining before proceeding with IVF again. Good luck! Diane

hi Diane unfortunately my oestrogen is 788 and they have told me to wait till next month and take the northisthersone . not sure i want too.

hi Diane

i have added a new post just now. basically the clinic nurse said i should take the drug to stop the cyst growing and to ensure that it clears before my next baseline scan. i truly believe clomid and the other drugs caused it in the first place. i can't stand all these drugs working against me. i feel i should naturally let them dissolve

Hi Rumi. Yes, that’s a thought. Perhaps everything needs to settle before carrying on. The cysts definitely need to go right down or be drained. Just got to see what happens when you are next seen. Diane
