Blood test this morning

Hi, so, i had a 4BB FET on 23rd June at 6pm. A few days later, really noticeable pinching and continued first on right side then some on left side. Extra sore boobs, cramping etc on day 4dpt I got a sticky mucus (like ovulation mucus)

I did a home test 7dpt and 10dpt both bfn

Going for a blood test this morning which would make it 11dpt. Is this too early or am I best to find out now so I can come off progesterone and get ready for another cycle. Feeling a bit deflated 😟

Hi, a blood test at 11dp should be accurate but definitely check with your clinic before stopping any meds. Wishing you lots of luck today xx

Agree, don’t stop anything until your clinic tells you to. My clinic always tests at 10 days so your test day should definitely be accurate. Fingers crossed for you xx

Thanks Solly-44, I’m nervous tbh because we’ve been trying IVF since January (frozen Embryos) that didn’t work. Due to Covid everything was put on hold and we kept trying naturally with Clomid but nothing. Then in May we had a cancelled stimulation because I had premature ovulation and some of the follicles were measuring 25. I was really hopeful for this month as I was told it was a good quality egg. I’m wondering if there is something wrong with my lining? It was around 9mm.

I completely understand, it’s so stressful and the delays have just added to that. As far as I know your lining sounds perfect - my clinic just said they want it over 7, never gave an upper limit so sounds good to me!

What is your test date...? I think it's 7th...july..its too early for you to check.... Please continue progesterone... Do not stop until you get AF...I got positive 3days after test day..

Hi Same0508, the actual one was scheduled for 6th July and the clinic told me if I want to test, do it in the 5th but my curiosity got the better of me. They told me to come in today because it’s near the date. I don’t think you can get your period if you are still taking progesterone? That’s why I’d like to find out so I can start another cycle. Congratulations on your positive result. When are you due? xx

Do you really think so? I’m new to all of this so it’s hard to know the right thing to do. The clinic said today that they would have a good indication today. They said to stay on the progesterone anyway so that will prevent my AF from coming. Have you done IVF before? Do you have any symptoms at the moment? I’m wishing you luck for a BFP on the 9th xx

So, the blood test came back negative. Absolutely gutted 😢 - it’s pretty definite they said.

I’m staying on the progesterone til Monday. They have recommended getting a scratch done. Anyone have any advise on this? Is it a good idea?

I am new to this group and the IVF process so I do not understand all the processes and what everyone goes through. I just wanted to say I am very sorry. I am sorry that you are feeling deflated. I know it is easy to say “chin up” “be positive” but don’t forget to give yourself time to be sad and to grieve.

Hi I had a scratch , soy drip and much higher dose of progesterone and got pregnant with my twins x just had a FET didn’t have the scratch but probably wasn’t as healthy ! Had a 4ab transferee and was negative ! Praying for last embryo in my last FET xxx you will get there keep praying and hoping and throw everyone you can at it xx

Hi Kc21, thank you for your reply. Sorry for my ignorance but what is a soy drip? What level of progesterone were you on? I’d love to have twins!! Do you really believe the scratch was how you conceived? I’m so interested In learning anything that could help. It’s not an easy procedure I’ve been told?
