The dreaded 2WW

I’m really struggling with the wait. I am convinced my FET hasn’t worked. Other then the occasional stomach cramp i don’t seem to have any symptoms. Im due to take the test on Wednesday. I’m crying a lot but thats because I’m so sure it hasn’t worked. No one actually knows we had the transfer as we decided not to tell anyone. I think this makes it harder as i have no one to talk to & to top it off, my best friend has just told me she is pregnant with her second, which has really put me in a bad way. I feel like each time a friend tells you they are pregnant it just highlights what you haven’t got and what you are so desperate for and then it just makes the whole process so much harder :( moan over xxx

Aww hey PMA, I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. Moan away!

It’s awful what we have to go through this when it seems to come so easy for others.

The TWW is just the worst.

I’ve only been in it for 24 hours and I’m already feeling all sorts.

TBH I really feel like I could have written this exact post myself. My best friend told me just prior to our FET that’s she’s pregnant with her second. Also not told anyone so can totally relate to that lonely feeling. I think this forum has been a life line for that reason.

I suppose the important thing to remember is that there’s just no way of knowing if it’s worked or not until test day (eeek). Just try to keep busy and plan in lots of relaxing things to take your mind off it as much as you can (easier said than done, I know).

Sending lots of positive vibes xxx

Aw so sorry. Why do pregnancy announcements always come at the most sensitive time.

But this form has taught me that we can never really tell based on symptoms.. everything crossed for you x

Aww keep positive (easier said than done I know) but you never know and so many people dont have any symptoms at all!! It could be your time, you've come this far which is amazing 🤞♥️ 💫 xxx

The day before I found out our IVF had work i sobbed and sobbed to my acupuncturist that i KNEW it hadnt work. Sore boobs from trigger had disappeared, i had no other symptoms at all.

I guess i just wanted to say, dont give up hope. Not everyone gets symptoms. I know the 2WW is by far the worse time during this journey. You’re almost there xx

Hang on my dear, you know I’m with you, I’m in the same situation, some day I have all sorts of symptoms, some days nothing, but if we lose hope we have nothing left

Lot of hugs xxxx

So sorry you have to go through it 😢

Just to give you hope, I had no symptoms, non at all up to week 35. Then I was tired 😂 now the little embryo is 18 months old! Some pregnancies go unnoticed x good luck

I’m exactly the same! Had my FET last Friday and I’m convinced it hasn’t worked ☹️ no major cramps or sore boobs, literally feel very not pregnant!! Until the dreaded period comes though, we just have to wait 😊 stay strong lovely xx

I was the same way, wondering why I didn't have sore boobs, nausea, headache etc. I only had cramps. Well guess what I'm pregnant. My coordinator said a lot of women don't have any symptoms

I know its hard but please don't worry about symptoms. I had a round of ivf in October had sore boobs and the odd stomach pain.....ended in miscarriage. Next round if ivf no symptoms at all and was pregnant. Now 18 weeks. Even after we got it confirmed it took to week 14 to have any symptoms. Everybody is different and body reacts differently. Best of luck and try and keep busy! Xx

Hi I know how it feels I'm in same boat, I suggested one friend who is a year younger than me to conceive before u reach 30,she having a very regular cycles conceived after a month I suggested her to have a baby. She had a baby girl last Sunday... Me n my hubby called n wished them but after call, we discussed about baby n things.... But life is a circle u need to wait til ur turn comes but trust me it will!!! Just a bit late.... Be positive... Y do you think it won't be positive I didn't get any symptoms in my previous pregnancy which was a year ago, of course the baby stopped growing after 8weeks...not every women is same no one have same body type, same level of hormones and symptoms!!! Just b positive.....im here to support you n I guess I receive Same support from u and all... Gud luck ☺ smil

I feel your pain, as I’m also in the dreaded 2ww. This is my first time doing IVF (I’ve had a day 5 fresh transfer) and test day is in a week’s time. In the last year I’ve had three miscarriages and because I’ve been pregnant before I now keep comparing what I feel to what I felt in the 2ww then. With all three, I knew I was pregnant because I had cramps and spotting. Now, I’m hardly feeling anything except for a few niggly pains here and there and have convinced myself this isn’t a good sign! Other people’s pregnancy announcements are the WORST when you’re in a bad place / struggling. We’ve had five announcements since March and every time I feel crushed. Just know that for every woman conceiving easily, there’s another one having troubles, like us ladies. Sending big hugs x x

Hi, I'm in the same shoe as you. I'm in my tww to test next weekend. I dont have any symptoms apart from some pains at my back which I usually have before my period comes. I had a 2x 3 days fresh transfer. I try to stay positive which is so hard but easily said. I have googled a lot and discovered that many women dint have any symptoms leasing to their BFP and also read somewhere that becos of the hormonal injections we had our bodies have leveled up the hormones before BFP so thats why one might not notice any symptoms becos the symptoms comes as a result of hormones increasing after ovulation if when should conceive naturally.

Just be strong I know it feels like ages to do the test and know the result. Just trust God we shall all have the result we seek. Sending hugs and good luck to us all. xx
