Progesterone a little low after transfer

Hi All, I hope you are well.

I would like some advice please, my clinic just called me and said my progesterone is 63 and they like it in the 100s. I am on all the medication away. They asked me to take lubion from today 2 a day, which is not an issue rather found out now. I think im on all the progesterone now.

But i dont understand why it is low and how is it low. I asked if i should do anything but they said just take meds.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

Keeping positive glad they told me now and not 2 weeks down the line.

Thank you all in advance xxc

Hi, my clinic was happy with mine after my FET and it was 46 I think (definitely 40 something). I have seen a few others who have clinics that prefer over 50. I've actually read studies that say over 100 begins to be too high potentially... I think it all depends on the studies they read and the results they see, but that doesn't mean it won't work either way. Best of luck to you 🤞💕 xxxx

Hi... Usually they suggest starting progesterone from day of transfer no matter what ur prog levels are.... But anyway no worries every one's body is different just follow your docs treatment plan...take them on time.. All the best...

Hi Stsr1234,

I was asked to add lubion after testing on transfer day and my clinic not being happy with the numbers (can’t remember what it was though!).

I think it’s quite common, some people’s bodies just don’t absorb the pessaries as well as others so the lubion injections are better in those cases xx

Hi Kibo

Thank you very much for the advice I am crossing everything xxx

I’ll keep everything crossed for you as well! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

My previous clinic never tested my progesterone and I was only ever given pessaries. I had three failed cycles with them. My last one I changed clinics and they tested me and added lubion. I’m now 24 weeks pregnant so it’s a good sign they’ve tested you and updated your protocol 😊xxx
