I was just wondering if anyone has been contacted by their clinic this week about restarting treatment.
My clinic called today but I am anxious about starting again next month. Are clinics in the uk all restarting treatments?

Just to say I have to call my clinic on day 1 next month and they will advise from there so it could possibly get delayed further if guidance changes **
that’s good to hear and all the very best. Mine are working on an exit strategy (like most i imagine) and i just check the HFEA site every week. I’m waiting for surgery with them prior to ivf so feel even further away than ever 💔
I hope they get an exit strategy in place soon so you can move forward with with your surgery and then treatment. It is all so difficult isn’t it 😢 and so many different emotions involved xx

Yes it is a uk clinic. I’m ok just mixed emotions gutted it was cancelled but back to anxious as I’m having my first fet and last attempt with my eggs so want to ensure it’s definitely ok to go ahead. Hope you are ok too xx
Ah cool re it being a UK clinic. Ah bless you hun, completely understandable. It's been even more of a rollercoaster with covid19! I'm sure they would only suggest going ahead if they were completely sure and wouldn't want to put you at risk. We've had 1 FET so far and it's so much easier on the body and a lot quicker in our experience(we were on long protocol for fresh). You've got this! 💪Lots of love and luck xx

Mine does both private and NHS but I can’t get in touch at all! They’ve shut the phone lines down with just an automated message and are basically saying ‘not in a position to discuss suspended treatments’. I know they will have redeployed staff with it being NHS as well, which is totally understandable, but to not allow patients any contact is very disappointing and upsetting xx

I called my clinic today as they have said they won’t be contacting anyone individually - they said call back in 2 weeks but they hope to reopen at some point in June

That gives me a little bit of hope and think that's really positive.
Not heard anything from mine and I'm with Care who do NHS and private. Totally understand how you are feeling as my follicle count is v.low so each week I worry my chances with my own eggs are reducing. Best you can do is to try and take it easy and sending lots of positive thoughts heading your way xx

Im with care chester, ive just emailed them to ask if their is any update on when they maybe reopening, my embryo transfer was cancelled 5days before it was meant to take place 😭 this is my 5th embryo transfer, or was meant to be, i had a little girl after my third embryo transfer last march but she was stillborn at 34 weeks, this just feels like another set back, i cant wait to get going again😩xx

I'm with Care as well and I spoke to my Consultant yesterday and asked if she knew when they would re open. She said they were in discussions with the HFEA but that there was no date as yet. There is a live Q&A on Facebook tomorrow so they may have some more info then. x

I had my cancelled nurses meeting over the phone on monday but she had no idea when things would actually start up again. I'm at the top on the waiting list for IVF at the RI in Edinburgh. Really hope things start up soon. I'm so ready for this now. Goos luck ladies xx

are these uk clinics? We were due to start our frozen this month but was told to call back in again on May Day 1. No update since. My mental health is struggling badly at the moment after losing my son in December starting our treatment again was the only thing keeping me sane. Hoping we get an update soon xx
Hi Dotty they have said it’s UK clinics. Fingers crossed for us all! I just wanted to say I feel the same after losing our daughter in January the little piece of hope for the future was keeping me sane and the closures have been so hard to deal with. I hope we can both start treatment again soon and have our happy endings. x
I’m so sorry you are also experiencing the same torment that we are going through. I know they are only closing clinics to protect us but just feel like it’s so unfair. It’s hard enough not being able to conceive without help and having someone stop you just makes it hurt so much more. I really hope things change soon and hopefully we can have our much wanted rainbow baby’s xx
I know it’s so infuriating. It does feel like discrimination because they aren’t telling everyone else to stop making babies! They’re all joking about baby booms. We were originally told our clinic would be closed till July so I’m hopeful from this today that maybe it won’t be that long after all. 🤞Got to find the hope to keep us going wherever we can. x
Yeah that’s what I said to my husband i know they aren’t stopping us to be horrible but ultimately they have my embryos and I want them 😔 my husband called our clinic earlier and asked and they said they have no update at the moment but have us on the list to be notified as soon as there is a chance. Trying to keep positive seeing that some clinics have opened but would have thought they could only open if HEFA say it’s now safe to do so, in which case all clinics should be open? xx
I know it’s not supposed to happen liked this with some opening and some now it’s a messy situation. Hopefully we’ll all get good news tomorrow. I do feel differently about our embryos after having our daughter, they’re all children to me in a way now so yeah I want them too. x
I couldn’t agree with you more. Oliver was our first attempt with new clinic couldn’t believe the difference in treatment. Completely tore me apart when I found out he had CDH. Life has been so cruel when it comes to my husband and I having a baby. As it has with us all! I Just pray things finally change and we can give my beautiful boy a little brother or sister soon xx
It’s certainly a very cruel situation to be in both fertility issues and babies who have died. Just one of those is awful but combined it’s a whole other level of torment. I’m glad to have found you though I wish it were different I haven’t found anyone else with both situations before. Hopefully we can both bring home happy and healthy siblings for them one day soon. x
I really hope I haven’t caused further upset by my post. I don’t think the clinic are open yet but are planning for the first lot of us to be able to restart. I hope there is some clear guidance out soon for everyone for all clinics xx

Hi this is so nice to see things are moving again..Even if it is slow but gives us some hope..Has anyone heard anything from the Glasgow royal infirmary in the uk? We were just put on the list for Ivf after a miscarriage at 7 weeks just before this covid 19 started..It took us 7 iui to get our bfp but sadly wasn’t to be this time..💔
We're with GRI. Just went on IVF list before lockdown following miscarriage after 3rd IUI. We haven't heard anything from them.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Nothing from the Royal yet that I have heard of. They updated their website though a few days ago to basically say they don’t know yet when they will start treatments again and their staff have been redeployed within the nhs.... I was days away from a natural FET in March after an early miscarriage in Feb and they said I would be a priority when they reopened because my appointment was cancelled so keeping an eye on their website so I can phone when they put any sort of ‘re-opening’ indication message on there. Xx

Good news, which clinic are you with?
I have received an email from my clinic today with an update. They have no date for opening current but have a list of patients to receive treatment. The order is patients who had started treatment or about to start treatment before the closure then anyone that has had a consultation since the stopping of treatment.
I am worried about how long the waiting list will be. I had a miscarriage on the 23rd of March and the thought of waiting 4 months plus is terrifying me
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I really hope you dont have to wait long, im guessing the nhs patients with hospitals will have to wait longer ?
I haven't heard anything about Oxford Fertility reopening but they will do scype consultations.
They have just finished talking about this very issue on Radio 2 so hopefully that will raise awareness of the problem. Xx
