Hi!

I finally start my Menopur injections tonight! I just wanted to know if anyone else was in a similar position?

Egg collection hopefully week commencing 23rd March 💛🤞🏽.

I’m very anxious! Definitely aware of lots of twinges in my ovaries. First scan Friday so hoping the right thing is happening in there but truly I have no idea! I’m feeling a little rough with the drugs, I’m on 300 this time. My clinic absolutely won’t commit to a date until they decide to trigger me, I’m just hoping I get to egg collection!

What dose are you on?

It is such a long and scary process isn’t it! I have had quite a few delays which have been really disheartening so to get to this point I’m so happy !

I’m on two amps? What dose is that???

I’ve got the trigger injection in the fridge all ready and waiting 🤞🏽 xx

I suffer from headaches often so I don’t think I’ve seen much of a change! Lots of random hot flushes though specially

I’ll be about a week behind ya 😘 starting injections on 18th, first scan 25th. Nice to know of someone near in the journey . Hope you are managing ok with the stingy stabs 💐💐💐💐

It’s nice to have people to talk to! Hardly anyone knows about my process and I don’t know anyone personally who has been through IVF.

I feel like these injections sting waaaay more than the bureslin! Did you feel the same?

Yep, they sting less if you take it out of the fridge 30 mins before you use it and roll it in your hands for a few seconds to take the cold nip off it.

I'm a little behind as well, have been taking buserelin for 8 days, once I have a scan next couple of days I'll know when to start the menopur. Initial estimate for egg collection was the 26th March but time will tell... Can't wait to stop the buserelin as I've been feeling rubbish on it.

I was taking buserelin for 4 weeks! Due to delays unfortunately so I am so glad I have finally got to the next step!

My egg collection date has been changed 3 times now 😣.

I didn’t feel to bad weirdly enough! Just a lot of hot flushes .. wishing you luck xxxx

I’m day 5 today. Have my scan on Monday but no idea at this stage when EC will be. Hate the uncertainty and not knowing.

Hello everyone.

I'm on Menopur with 6 nights. On day 3 (after two nights of injections) I got a pain in my left side that has not left yet. Has anyone else experienced this kind of pain on Menopur?
