First of all I want to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU that sent me well wishes, sweet messages and words of encouragement- they helped me massively with the anxiety I felt on these last few days.

It’s good news for us today 😍little sausage (how the sonographer called ‘it’) has a heartbeat ❤️She had a bit of a weird approach though and said that she won’t give me the heartbeat frequency because although it’s good news it’s still very early days and we need to keep our fingers crossed. My little lobster 🦞 measured at 6w3d- she said + or - 4 days doesn’t really matter.
I’m obviously very thankful, happy and less anxious, although I was expecting to feel more ‘liberated’ and able to ‘celebrate’ a little. Somehow the lady ruined it for me 😂😂😂
I am not posting the picture as I don’t want to upset those of you who are going through a tough time, and are always in my thoughts ❤️
I’ll be waiting for more happy news today - I know they’re coming 💋💋💋💋💋

I’m really sorry as I don’t want to overshadow your happiness but I passed a big clot this morning so I am really thinking it’s all over xx I have to wait until Friday but I woke up this morning with such bad stomach cramps and then this followed! Sorry the sonographer ruined things a bit for you. It sounds like she’s not very sensitive to things and/or maybe not used to dealing with an ivf pregnancy. For what it’s worth I’ve never even been offered the heartbeat frequency (and I had a LOT of scans during my last pregnancy 😂🤦🏽♀️) - every single person that scanned me just said that as long as there’s a heartbeat at this stage that’s what matters.
I’d say today is a day to celebrate- everything is looking good and by the sounds of things, progressing just as it should be! 💕

Yes it’s Spring here, it’s nice to be home for a few days. I’ve been on a no-sugar diet for a while now but today I ate a huge ‘Zeppola di San Giuseppe’ full of cream patisserie which I wanted to eat for a very long time and I have no regrets! Sometimes it’s good for the soul. I take all the baby dust ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ thank you!

I’ve booked another scan on 12th March when I’ll be 9w (hopefully 🤞🏻🍀), next Monday I’m going to my GP to start the NHS journey....but yet thinking of doing the harmony - due date is 15/10/2020 (so weird to write this!) ....wow bed bound with morning sickness must have been SO hard! I have it on and off every day now...not eating a lot and mainly eating bland food which doesn’t smell or has any taste 😂😂😂😂but don’t care! When are you going to the lister? Xx

Thank you Issy! I need positive words. Two hours ago, just to make it all more exciting I spotted some brownish discharge... I spoke with my dr and told me to put on an extra progesterone suppository and to check that the discharge does not turn red... I don’t know how i am going to make it till Thursday 😬
Just to put your mind at ease, I had a bit of brown discharge right around the same time as you and everything was fine at my scan. I know it’s scary but it’s super normal. Sending you a big hug for Thursday ♥️ xxx
Nah progesterone will fix it- maybe on Thursday if you get the chance ask for a blood test to check progesterone levels...are you doing injections on top of pessaries? Mine was low so they added an injection of Prontogest every other day and now my levels are great 💪🏻🍀
Thank you both for your comforting words ❤️. The last time I asked my dr to check my progesterone she said that even if she did there was not a cut-off so she would not br able to tell wether it was low or not. I am only taking pessaries.
Just wanted to let you know that yesterday’s scan went well. The embryo has a strong heartbeat! I need to up my dose of progesterone and check out the spotting.
