Well, I didn’t expect to be typing such a .... positive and ready to go post after our first review of our negative cycle .... but .... here goes :
No need to wait unless not mentally ready ✅
Change of meds and increased dose in hope of getting more eggs ✅
Previous egg response was fine and eggs produced good quality with accurate bloods. Down reg still fine as bloods proved ✅
No need to take additional drugs as folic acid is one with most evidence / studies ✅ eat healthy and cut out crap 💩

Our consent appointment is on Monday with my down reg on 3rd March 😱😱😱😱😱

Ps I asked if I needed my amh tested again as it was 6.8 a year ago and he said no, it will have dropped , we will increase dose of stims based on what my body did and produced in October .

Me too! No point in waiting sure my eggs are dying and I’m still off work so no time like the present! Fingers crossed the nursing team on Monday can get medication etc all ordered and sorted for us 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
We did exactly the same cycle 1 was November/December and cycle 2 was January/February. We felt ready and just wanted to continue. Think if this hasn't worked (which I don't think it has) we will take a break before doing round 3 as I think that'll be our final round x
Yeah, we’ve one free round on nhs queues up for May/June so we will see how it goes. It’s there if we need it and will just have to take the blessing of it’s security and crack on . I think wasting time (three years ) before I asked gp for help means I’m not for wasting time , plus we had first egg collection in October and our second will be April so , big enough break etc I feel . So glad the dr had no issue with it all and answered what we needed .
Aye, not sure if they will do a combo but I’ve seen a few with that. They are having a meeting tonight so I will find out on Monday what they agree . Then I’ll settle for next bit 🤣

Yes! I’ll be 6w5d....well I’ve never been pregnant so I don’t know how I should feel...surely I feel sooo tired and queasy hope it’s a good sign! Bit anxious though... scared something is wrong 😢but I’m trying to keep positive!
Aww. Don’t be scared, most pregnancies go smoothly and times goes so fast so do try to enjoy it as much as you can. It is the best time to be a diva, ask your DH to do everything while you put your feet up. Xx
Hello issy my appointment went very well. The doctor was friendly and she clearly read all my notes and background information beforehand which was reassuring! I asked her about success rate for 40-42 and she said theirs and the lister’s are similar so you are definitely in good hands. I will let you know how I get on at the lister next week. Yay! I’m happy to hear- it does make such a difference when you find a clinic with a clinical team you feel you can trust. Comparing to my previous clinic (where I didn’t feel I could trust the team), this experience has been SO MUCH BETTER overall, in terms of care and empathy (and results too!). These clinics are very expensive but it’s really worth it for me! I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about the Lister 😃💋💋💋💋
Hello RhinoCat my appointment went very well today, they were much more thorough than my previous clinic. If I go with this clinic I won’t be able start my cycle until April because they do a monitoring cycle (March). I am visiting another clinic next week and I will choose one of them. Well that all sounds positive . I’m sure you will know better when you’ve visited the other clinic . I’m grand today, had counselling this morning and a nice relaxing day . Hope you get a good sleep tonight . This ivf stuff is exhausting 💐
Must be so nice to have sibilings, I am an only child...and my family is in Italy...hubby’s too only child and Italian with family in Italy, so it’s just us ❤️
My husband is an only child 😍 I always feel he is lucky because he doesn’t have to share the love 💖 my siblings all live in different countries which is crap but am glad they’re there to argue with when I want them 😍🤣

I think if the dr had shown emotion of the sad variety I would have cried into a puddle but he asked how we both were and he seemed to feel we were sad but realistic . He gave no reason to wait and after down reg it’ll be another couple of weeks before we start injections etc . That’ll be grand 😘
Oh lucky you! I had to snap these glass vials open to mix it. Stressed me out every day 🙈
I think most of the stims drugs are around the same cost, although if they are significantly upping your dose you’ll definitely notice on the invoice! 🤪 xx
I was on 450 daily (150 x 3 injections) for 8 days then 2 days on 300! I was on the max dosage, amh is 11, short protocol. This time doing long protocol and then 375 of gonal f..I think..havent had the detail yet. Hopefully not been maxed out will help.

Yep! They are all positive and there’s no sentimental crap (which is the opposite of me ) which is great for this treatment I feel. No oul crap, straight and honest . Their aim is to try and get me more eggs next time 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I should be starting my 4th cycle tomorrow, AF arrived this afternoon so will get my bloods done in the morning and wait to hear about starting my meds.
