Antibiotics when starting ivf

Ladies I’m freaking out! I’m due to start my nasal spray tomorro, 1st day of treatment.

I’m currently sat in the gp wait room to see if I have a chest infection. I’m worried sick this will affect my treatment if they give me antibiotic or other meds. Has anyone else experience anything like this?

Hi Genabella. Oh dear! Sorry to hear that you are not well just now. No need to worry about antibiotics, as I'm sure your GP will assure you, that they are safe during treatment and pregnancy. Make sure you blow your nose before spraying the Buserelin. The spray absorbs quite quickly by the lining of your nose, so any leak afterwards is not a problem. Hope all goes well with your cycle. Thank you Diane. I’m also on a steroid called prednisolone 5mg also

No experience of this exactly but I'm on antibiotics following my endo scratch this week so assume antibiotics are OK. Before I started my last cycle, I like you felt really poorly and I worried that I wouldnt be able to continue however it was fine and I got to start my cycle x
