Hi everyone, I am new here for IVF. I’ve been undergoing IVF since August and have just had my first FET. Had to have a break over Xmas because of risk of OHSS.

I just wanted to know if anyone here had a slight bleed on 4dp5dt and 5dp5dt? It was pinky brown and only a small bit when I wiped twice and once yesterday. No fresh blood. I know it could be implantation bleeding but you know when you just need people to say “yes I had that and then a BFP!” 😂 why do we do this to ourselves?!

I’m on 2 x progesterone pessaries a day and 4 x progynova estrogen tablets a day. I test on day 14! 10th February. I feel like I’m existing until that date x

Hi PenneyPots,

Are you on cyclogest? I know that using them vaginally causes spotting for a lot of women so if you are doing that you can always switch to rectally and see if that stops it?x

I know its really stressful waiting but you're doing great....those days are going in. The small amount of blood could be implantation.🤞🏻 The pessaries can also cause irritation so if its cyclogest you could move to rectally until all settles down. Good luck.xx

Hey hun. I had the same thing starting from day 6 and once I switched to rectally again the spotting stopped after a day and a half. I read in many places that spotting is quite common in the 2ww so hang on there. As long as there is no fresh blood and cramping you should be safe 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰

Honestly I would advise everyone to hold and wait till otd and I so wanted to be able to do that but I knew I wouldn’t 🙈🙈🙈🙈

I got a positive but I fear will be another chemical as my last two transfers were positive too but both ended in chemicals. I have bloods tomorrow so I’m praying for a miracle 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕🤞🤞🤞🤞xxx

Hey hun just to let you no I have done a FET on day 4 I started spotting I was so sure it hadnt worked I was heartbroken but guess what it did and I'm now 17+4 having a baby boy sit tight dont stress think positive and hold the faith sending you loads of love and got everything crossed for you xx

Just keep thinking positive I no how hard it can be spotting can be quit normal in pregnancy I was spotting again last week but baby is fine all check out no reason for it just maybe I'm like that x I have a son who's 11year old naturally and never once had spotting with him this 1 os ivf and I've spotted all the way since day 4.. is only light or brown bever bright red and heavy xx I have everything crossed for you hun xxx

Glad some people were able to give ya some answers 🤓 I haven’t had the joy of possible implantation symptom yet😂🤣😂🤣 , although I’ve googled it just in case I’ll need to know 🤪🤪🤪🤪 think I’ve googled everything under the sun! I’ve learnt so much since my transfer on Monday I think I’m ready to get part time work at the clinic 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’ve even learnt about period flu 😆....

did you have a couple of days of achey body / legs? Google sorted me though . Defo feeling the ‘period coming’ vibes..... 😩

Thank you so much!! Dr google is a bloody nightmare and a godsend at the same time haha. I didn’t have any achy legs or body no. Just a couple of side cramps but I’ve always had that (sometimes before Af is due 😭)

I had had flu or a cold after transfer and still have it now at nearly 18weeks pregnant I was told it's a symptom xx

Hi Penney, Im also 6dp5dt 💜 I had some spotting and light bleeding on 2dp5dt and 3dp5dt. Was brownish pink but some was fresh too (kind of pinky though, not exactly like period blood... Sorry, TMI probs!! ). It stopped after day 3, tiny bits of brown spotting on day 4. No idea what it was 😓. I was just so glad it stopped as I've been walking around all week terrified my period was starting 😢😢😢. Couldn't have been pessaries as I've never used them vaginally (clinic says only rectal). Could have been a bit of bleeding from the ET... consultant said I had a little polyp which might have been nicked. Secretly hoping it was implantation bleeding of course but no way to tell at this point 😲. Wishing you loads of luck xx

It’s nerve wracking isn’t it?!! Not too much tmi at all ☺️ we don’t have a choice on this journey. After so many dates with Wanda I don’t care anymore haha.

Good luck, hang on in there! I had some spotting with one of my BFP’s, it was mainly brown. Sometimes the pessaries can cause irritation too, so spotting doesn’t mean anything either way so don’t get disheartened. Xxx

Hey Kira, please tell me you, like me, have zero symptoms ahahah I’m going crazy thinking nothing is happening in my uterus! I hate the 2ww! My test day is Friday 7th Feb OMG 5 more days lol

Hi Issylove80, I have no symptoms at all... makes me nervous. But since I have been tracking my cycle for at least over a year, at this point in my normal cycle I have always reported severe cramps and lower back pain (endometriosis).

Ofc my cycle is different since injecting all the hormones and having transfer on a fresh embryo... so maybe that could be my “symptom” 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi Penney! I’m one day behind you (5dp5dt), FET of a 3BB embryo- I have no symptoms whatsoever I haven’t had any type of bleeding but it seems a good thing if it has stopped it could be implantation bleeding! Are you planning to POAS anytime soon?

Hey! What does POAS mean? 😬 if it is home test then I’m really going to try not to. I have tests in my glove compartment from before, I’ve asked my mate to come get them tomorrow and give them back to me on the 9th! I am already looking up the hashtags on Instagram though. #6dp5dt had loads of people that have already tested. I just don’t want this “am I or aren’t I?” Feeling to go

Omg I so understand you- my husband is the same. I don’t think men really get what we’re into while doing this...with the hormones and everything lol

Dreaming is GOOD! Life needs dreams- I always think that if it’s not this time, yes I’ll be pissed off but I’m gonna try again until my mind can support my body (and viceversa, since in July I’m turning 40 😱😭😂)
