Transfer day - embryo on board 🙏

We had our transfer today for our only frozen embryo. Been a wreck all week and was expecting a call telling us the embryo didn't survive the thaw but when the embryologist called he said it thawed perfectly, and by the time we got to the clinic and they checked it just before transfer it had fully expanded so we have a good quality embryo on board 🙏 and the transfer was straightforward bit uncomfortable but it all went smoothly.

Been trying not to get my hopes up too much as I know there's a chance this might not work but now that it's been transferred I have gotten my hopes up already 🙈 really hoping this will give us out BFP 🤞🙏 xx

Here I just wanted to share my point of views about the ladies problems which they are facing nowadays. Well unfortunately, I am infertile and I was very stressed about me and my husband. I was not even getting the best solutions for myself. This is a very common problem nowadays that everybody is trying to earn money and for that they also made many fake clinics as well. Well I was also facing such situations and then the good times came into my life, to which may be I should call it my good luck that I got to know about the best solution of surrogacy in a clinic by my friend who is also my family doctor now and I am so glad that I made the right decision on right time with the help of her.

That is so positive! We are going through the same. Only one frozen embryo and the transfer is on Monday. My mind is a rollercoaster! I get so tired with all the thoughts in my head that all I want to do is sleep. I'm now wishing we will have the start as positive as yours Sarah_a_2018. Everything is crossed and only advise that I can give is that do all that you can not to dwell on things - go for walks, go for coffee( decaf only!😁) go shopping, change the bed sheets - anything you can do.

It will honestly save your sanity.

Good luck!! I know during this process it feels rather silly to get your hopes up but to be honest I would try and enjoy this time. It’s difficult but during my last tww I tried hard to be neutral. I just distracted myself with things and did my best with socialising with friends who made me laugh and forget for a few moments about being in the tww. Xx

Thanks everyone, it's only day 1 but am feeling really good so far and trying to avoid all the googling 🙈 I had to take myself to bed just before 9last night couldn't stay awake and I slept for a solid 8 hours, must have really needed it as I didn't sleep well during the week worrying about transfer day 😳 I'm definitely feeling a lot more positive this time and really hoping this will be our turn but trying not to let the fear that it might not be, overwhelm me 🙈 hubby is taking me out for breakfast and then we're doing a bit of shopping. We got a quote for our bathroom and it was a bit £££ so he doesn't want to commit to it until we know the results of this cycle and if we're going to have to kit out a nursery and all the baby stuff 😳 hoping to convince him we can do both!

Congratulations on your successful transfer. Did you manage to get your progesterone tested or upped this time?

Purplis my clinic wouldn't test my progesterone because they don't think it's an accurate way to measure progesterone because it's supplemented but they did give me extra cyclogest. I've asked for injectable progesterone if we need another cycle and they've said they will consider it if we need to do another cycle x
