Baths before egg collection

Me again! I’m sure it’s fine but am being extra cautious - is it ok to have hot baths the couple of days before egg collection? In a lot of discomfort and hoping it will help.

I asked my clinic this and before egg collection is fine but a big no no after transfer. Best check with you clinic though because they’re all different.

I got told ok before collection but not afterwards so make the most of it!xx

Bit the bullet and had a lovely warm bath last night, couldn't find anything to say not to and I've been having them throughout my stims and have lots of lovely follicles, so I figured it couldn't hurt! Really helped relieve some of the discomfort as well and relaxed me before my trigger shot

I’ve literally just had my first egg collection this morning and last night I enjoyed a warm bath to relax me. I didn’t have it very hot though (not as hot as I’d usually like) but it was still nice.

And they managed to get all my 4 follicles out from me (I have v low AMH and never produce many follicles).. plus I’ve managed to get 5 eggs from 4 follicles 😀

So a warm bath the night before has done me no harm. But I won’t be having any more baths now (for a while).
